Chapter 40
I woke up as I blinked at the amount of brightness in my room.
I sighed and dragged myself to the showers and felt the water go down my body. I shaved and cleaned my hair and body as I wrapped myself in a towel.
I got dressed into some causal clothes, nothing too much. I put my hair in a bun and opened the door as Cody came running in. I bend down and scratched him.
I looked into his bright blue eyes that reminded me of Tyler's eyes. I sighed. I already missed my boyfriend. Today we had to do something and bring Cody along.
Tyler hasn't seen him in a while since all the things that have been going on. I kissed Cody's head as we both went downstairs.
Jen and Carly was there like always but I didn't see any signs of dad.
"Where's my father?" I asked Jen as she handed me an energy bar.
"He went to the hospital to see your mother."
I opened the wrapper and bit into my bar.
"He's been hanging around and worrying about mom a lot. I mean we all worry about her but he acts weird around her. Like he almost loves her again."
I said and looked at her for her opinion.
She let out a nervous laugh and shook her head. "That's impossible. There divorced."
I squinted my eyes. She's acting weird now..
"My family is acting weird now" I mumbled.
"When are we going?" I asked Jen. She sighed.
"We are going when your father comes back to take care of this little one."
She pointed at Carly and tickled her tummy as Carly laughed.
"Well I'm going to go throw out the trash if that's okay." She nodded.
I picked up the black garbage bag and tied it as I held it up.
I scrunched my nose up at the smell. I hope I don't smell like stink when I go outside now..
I reached outside and succeeded as I threw the bag.
I sighed and played with my bangs as I wrapped my bangs around my fingers to make little curls.
I heard familiar voiced and stopped as I looked around.
I followed the voices as my eyes widened.
Why are they two talking?
I thought they hated each other.
"Brittany?!" I called out.
She stopped and looked up to see me calling her.
"Allie?!" The other one stopped to.
I caught up to them.
"I thought you guys hated each other?" I asked them as I looked in between them.
They both looked at each other and smiled.
"Well Allie came up to me and said that she changed and I don't know. We clicked in a way and started to hang out."
"When was this?" I asked them.
"A couple of days ago." Allie answered.
I looked at her appearance and gasped. She wasn't wearing any makeup but only eye liner and blush and lipstick.
She looked natural and it looked good on her instead of that other cake stuff.
"I know, I know." Allie chuckled and noticed my widened eyes and my gasp.
