Chapter 60
I ran through the doors as they slammed opened and bounced off the walls making a big noise. Everyone turned to me but I ignored them. I ran through the halls bumping into strangers . "Move!" I yelled with tears flowing down my face. I didn't know what was going on..this day just couldn't get any worse. "Move!" I yelled louder as this person moved quickly and gave me a look. I sniffed as I wiped my eyes angrily.
Where is she?! My mind didn't seem to be working right. It was like everything around me seemed to freeze or to blur. I was only focusing on finding the room. I couldn't even see straight or even talk anymore or yell. My voice was getting sore and it seemed to feel like it was closing up. My heart beat was pumping faster than sonic can run. Panic began to keep building and building up inside of me. I just wanted to get where I was going to.
My foot keep tripping myself as I tried to balance myself.
I probably looked like a big freak in front of all these people. What made me look like a bigger freak was my makeup running down my face, the weird noises and sobs that keep coming from my mouth, or even my hair which was beautiful before but now looked like a birds nest. I saw two people walking down, holding hands, the girl looked sad while the boys eyes watered. I pushed through them, my feelings were too numb to even care about anybody or what was happening.I wouldn't give two shits, even if a car came by and ran a dog over right now. All that was on my mind was her. I needed her and she couldn't leave me! She couldn't! Her hands would not slip through mine! Oh god...please...please. I prayed as I ran another hallway. "Move! Move! I need to get to her!" I yelled at the people. "Woah!" Somebody yelled as I ran past them. I felt like a vampire running through the forest. The figures passing by me were all a blur. Was I running that fast? I thought. More tears, more sobs, more tripping.
As I turned around a corner I gripped onto the edge as I almost tripped again. I banged my head against the wall as all I could hear we're my heavy breathing. I sniffed as I got up and let go of the wall and kept running. Your almost there Helena, keep going, keep running for your life. I cried out of joy as I saw the door. I didn't even bother to knock or even say hello to the recognizable people waiting outside the door. My father tried to grab me but I was just to fast for him or anybody else.
I bumped into the doors as they opened. Eyes were on me now. "I'm sorry." One of them said. I quickly looked at the bed. No! No! No! This couldn't be happening! This couldn't be happening to me, not on this day! This was my day! I cried hard as I tried to grab the doctor. "Do something! Help please!" I yelled as I grabbed the guys collar and held him. "Helena no!" I heard a voice.
My father's. I felt strong hands grab my waist as I cried. I eventually let go to the guy as I sobbed and cried and yelled. I pushed and kicked with all my might as the hands got tighter around my waist. "Let go! Let me go dad!" I yelled as my hair flew in my face as I was forced out of the room. "No!" I sobbed and cried as I turned around to be only found in the arms of my father, he held me close. "No! Dad she's-" I sobbed into his shoulder as I wet his shirt. He cried with me as he hugged my shoulders.
I ignored all my friends and family around us. Right now was only me and my father. I don't think things will be the same ever again....
---"It's my birthday!" I yelled as I looked at myself in the mirror. I was wearing a green dress that went up to my knees with some blue flats. I had light green eyeshadow on and nude lipstick. My hair was down and a little curly today with awesome bangs in my face. I also had on a blue leather jacket to complete the look with some earrings and rings. Of corse I was wearing the ring gave me, it was special to me and it will always be. I twirled around as I laughed. I hope this day will be the best....
