Chapter 5

After beerus didn't get his pudding and knocking every Z fighter out of his way he goes to destroy the planet until bulma gets slapped and vegeta went into a raging power stronger then even goku but still was not enough so mercury joined in with vegeta But was knocked back as well but mercury didn't give up trying

Mercury:Damnit I won't give up!

Mercury then throws himself into a rage slowly powering up his hair turns yellow and lighting sparks around him causing him to turn to a super saiyan himself

Mercury:Beerus I won't forgive you!

Mercury goes in for punches but beerus dodges everything until...

Mercury:KAIOKEN TIMES 3!!

Mercury got a hit in but still it was nothing to beerus.Beerus then flicks mercury away causing him to almost pass out from both the attack and the combination of super saiyan and kaioken

Beerus:Alright whips grab the food and let's get going after I blow this planet up

Mercury:N-No...we won't let you...

Goku runs down the ship

Goku:Heya Guys I'm here now

Everyone cheers for goku

Goku:Mercury good job on reaching super saiyan but don't use kaioken as it will kill you as you saw just now

Mercury:Yea...I figured it but had to take a chance to save everyone...

Goku:You did your best but leave it to me now

Goku then asked bulma to use the dragons balls and fast forward after gaining the information from shenron

Goku:Ok let's do it guys

Everyone gets into position and turns super saiyan for goku but the transformation didn't work

Piccolo:It didn't work goku you just got energy from everyone not a transformation

Goku:Well we can add mercury then since he has super saiyan and he has a pure heart I mean he risked his life using the kaioken with super saiyan try and save you guys he can help us

Mercury:I don't know if I can transform back into it

Goku:Just remember the pain you felt when you first went into super saiyan

Mercury:Yea ok!

Everyone gets into position with mercury now in it.Everyone goes super saiyan but mercury is still trying

Vegeta:Fool what kind of saiyan are you if you can't fight for yourself and friends!

Mercury then remembers what happen when beerus was hurting everyone then transform back into a super saiyan

Mercury:Alright I'm ready everyone

(I decided the transformation will be the battle of gods transformation instead of super since I really liked the movie one more)

After goku has landed back to his feet everyone walked back giving goku some room to face beerus.Both soon raise then after goku gerting use to the new form he charges a Kamehameha

Goku:KAMEHAMEHA!

The blast even made beerus shock with excitement,after that it was a head on fight mercury and the other z warriors flew to watch the fight while the others gather into Bulma's pod to follow as well once goku and beerus where out of view everyone hoped goku will win.Goku used everything in his power to fight beerus but soon was stabbed by beerus and fell back to earth into the ocean everyone gasped as they saw there hope fall without response.Mercury then screamed out goku's name but nothing but he kept going,after the fourth time mercury heard goku's voice

Goku:I'm not dying yet mercury not yet!

After that goku shot up from the ocean strong as ever in the god form.Mercury wiped the tears off his face seeing goku smile during this battle

Goku:Alright beerus time for me to use full power

Beerus:You weren't using your full power? Then fine I'm gonna go all out!

Both charged to there max power beerus set up dozens of ki balls at goku but goku charges the kamehameha to stop it

Goku:KAMEHAMEHA!!

After destroying all of the ki balls goku charges at beerus for a punch but reverts back into a plain super saiyan

Mercury:No! Goku is back to his normal self the god form had a timer! You can sense his ki again!

Piccolo:This is bad goku is gonna lose now

Goku misses at first but a afterimage of goku's punch hit beerus as confused as he was he dodge goku's attack again but once more a afterimage hit beerus once again

Beerus:Alright time out what's going on!?

Goku:what do you mean?

Beerus:Your timer ran out don't you see and your still able to keep up with me!

Goku looks at himself then sees for himself that he is just a super saiyan

Goku:Then what do you think beerus? What happen?

Beerus:Well i don't know if it's right but you seem to have absorbed the power of the god form letting your body become the new base form of god in other words your body has gotten use to the power of gods.

But soon beerus launches his final attack

Beerus:Let's see if you can take this goku!

Goku:Damnit beerus this wasn't part of the deal!

Beerus:Then you better stop it before it destroys earth!

Goku goes to stop the attack but it's slowly overtaking goku then eventually overwhelms goku.As goku was inside the blast he heard everyone's voice especially mercury,they cry for hope and for goku to win.As so goku charges up his last amount of power inside the blast and seems to absorb the power.

Beerus:Well well that was interesting what was that? What did you do?

Goku:I...don't know...I don't have a answer

Beerus charges a ki move but both seem to laugh.Goku then faints from the lack of stamina.Whis catches goku then all three come back to earth

Mercury:Goku!

Mercury runs to the tired out goku

Goku:Hey...Sorry everyone I didn't win...

Beerus:A promise is a promise to a god I hope you all can understand

As beerus was getting ready to destroy the earth he fell asleep during his attack

Whis:Oh my? Guess the fight tired him out oh well guess we will be leaving and don't worry he won't remember his promise to destroying earth.

Everyone was relieved to hear that and so everyone said there goodbyes to Whis and had given them some delicious food for them

Goku:Well vegeta next time you get to control the god form but trust me it's something else

Vegeta:I don't need you're help to reach it I will reach that form with my own power!

Goku:Same here what about you mercury?

Mercury:Well of course I want to reach that power on my own that is a saiyans pride remember?

Both goku and vegeta look at mercury with a smile

Goku:And you did surpass me vegeta when beerus smack bulma you went all like "That's my bulma!"

Vegeta was surprised by this

Vegeta/bulma:How did you know about that?!

Goku:Well I was here earlier watching everyone fight

Mercury:Like trying to find a plan against beerus?

Goku:Yea but couldn't think of anything so took a long shot with shenron lucky it turn out right

Bulma:So you were here but didn't bother to help!

Bulma then attacks goku out of anger everyone then laugh at goku,making everyone leave with a smile.
