Once everyone has recovered from the fall and heard about a tournament was being held everyone had was either training or well everyone was but mercury was busy sleeping off the whole time waiting for the tournament to come

Timeskip to the day of the tournament

Goku and vegeta went to the lookout for training while xicor and mercury stayed at bulma's place to relax until it was time to leave

Mercury: So What do you think about the tournament? Is there gonna be food? Maybe the fighters are gonna be too weak or maybe they will be strong? Man I really want to know

Xicor: Mercury could you shut up for about 5 seconds with the questions and think of why beerus is bringing 4 saiyans and this monaka person?

Mercury: Yea I get that but if we are too strong? Then it would be a waste of time

Xicor: What am I gonna do with you?

Mercury: You could give me food pleassssse?

Xicor: Hmm let me think about it...no

Mercury then hit the table with his head as a sign of defeat and sadness while xicor just chuckle as his response

Mercury looked at xicor with curiosity in his eyes

Mercury: You mean like goku?

Xicor then caught himself before saying anything more and just stared at mercury with a dumbfound face

Xicor: Of course idiot who else is your father?

Mercury: Good point say xicor your pretty smart

Xicor: Compare to you and goku of course I am

Xicor and mercury got up from the table continuing the conversation of what universe 6 would bring and of course food while heading outside to meet the others but was shock to see goku and vegeta have beards

Mercury: What...How...wha?

Xicor: I don't know if I should be surprised or what...

Mercury: But that smell...could you guys take a shower if we are making a 3 hour trip?

After goku and vegeta have taken a shower and shaved everyone was ready to leave for beerus's planet as they have to pick him and this monaka person up

Timeskip of 3 hours of boredom

After landing on beerus's planet everyone was amazed at the wildlife, taking pictures of fishes and such

Whis: I don't mind you taking pictures but don't release them into the internet. Let's just keep this secret to ourselves shall we?

Mercury was still in the cube sleeping again while xicor and vegeta are talking about combat stance and for goku he was waiting for this monaka person to show and as on cue beerus and monaka came out the forest but monaka was...weak looking? This gave a red flag to vegeta and xicor But goku was still trying to see monaka's power

Mercury then shot up at the wall breaking moment but notice monaka was here and soon forgot it as he walked towards the others

Mercury: So this is the monaka person?

Goku: Yep can you believe it? This is the strongest person that beerus is bringing!

Mercury: Oh man can't wait to see you fight with us monaka! Oh the name is mercury

Beerus then punch both goku and mercury out of anger
