Jungkook ran until he was out of breath. He ran until he could no more. He ran until he could see the building he had been chasing down.
"I'm coming Taehyung", he panted, "Don't worry".
He didn't change back into his human form. His anger fueled his beastly desire which made his alpha win over his human side. The wolf sneaked around the building that stood on the side of a forest that had been completely cut down. Dark smoke was released from the various high chimneys and colored the blue sky.
He found an opening which seemed like some ventilation system and crawled inside of the vent. He tried making the least sound possible, though that wasn't easy when being a giant black werewolf who was filled with fury. He crawled until he reached the end which led to a big room. He looked through the small openings for possible humans nearby, before climbing out. It was completely silent He shook his fur which had been pressed flat by the small space.
The room wasn't that big, now he spared it a good look. But it would have been much more spacious if an aquarium didn't take up half of the space in the room. The alpha sat down on his butt and stared confused at the huge tank filled with clear blue ocean water. Fish and other creatures swam through the clear liquid and the wolf followed the movements hungrily. He shook his head, ignoring his rumbling stomach and focused back on his mission.
If they took Taehyung- that would mean they needed to keep him hydrated- this would mean somewhere with water- like a big tank-
Loud thuds echoed through the room and Jungkook cleared his eyes that had gone hazy from thinking. In front of him was the big tank, and right in the middle swam Taehyung. He had pressed himself against the glass and was hitting it as hard as he could to get the attention of the wolf, who he knew was his Jungkookie.
"Jungkook!", he yelled, though his voice got smothered by the water invading his mouth. Bubbles rose to the surface as his fist thudded against the strong sturdy glass.
Jungkook ran up to the aquarium and pressed his snout against the glass, his eyes glowing red at the sight of his merman being locked up as if he was some sort of ordinary fish. Taehyung swam further down until he was eye to eye with Jungkook. He smiled sadly and placed his hands on the barrier that split the two men. The wolf raised his paw and placed it on the exact same spot Taehyung's hand was situated.
"Help me", Taehyung mouthed, "Please".
The wolf gave a short nod before thinking about the various possibilities. He could try breaking the glass but he was sure it had been designed to not break that easily. He could look for the upper part of the tank and get Taehyung out. Surely there would be an exit somewhere.
He noticed flakes floating inside of the water and the fish heading towards them.
Taehyung scrunched his nose in disgust.
"I won't eat fucking fish food", he yelled, though no one could hear him through the water. Jungkook ran in circles, trying to find the best solution.
Fuck it. He decided on finding something to bash into the glass. Maybe there would be some materials nearby that could help him.
He gave one last glance at the merman who looked at him with sad eyes. He saw the wolf disappear out of the room and pouted. He really wished Jungkook wouldn't have left him in the first place. He could've saved him when those awful men came to take him away.
He sank down to the bottom and sat down.
If Jungkook was here so quickly, it would mean he eventually came for Taehyung.
