It took me a minute to remember where I was. My eyes were still heavy with sleep, and I was a little bit sweaty. That made sense though, when I remembered there was another body wrapped around mine.

He was still sleeping- small, even, breaths pushing past his parted lips. I took the time to admire his features, I almost forgot just how beautiful he really was. His cheeks were still red and puffy from the crying fit I had witnessed earlier, my heart breaking a little as the picture of his sobbing form swam behind my eyes.

He looked so broken when I got to his car, but to only intensified when he started crying. I wasn't sure what exactly I had planned on doing when I decided to go after him, but I was glad I did. I really wasn't sure if he was crying from the anger he felt towards Calum, or the pain he felt from seeing me after weeks apart. I couldn't deny my heart skipped several beats when he walked into Ashton's apartment, my body reminding me of how much I missed him.

I was having such a hard debating with myself, not sure what I was supposed to do. Calum admitted that he purposely tore us apart, but could I just go back to Luke like that? We have so much history, and I'd be lying if I said that I didn't want to stay entangled in his arms all day, but everything we had gone through had caused so much strain on our relationship. I wanted him... but I wasn't sure it was the right time.

"Hi." I flinched at the sudden noise, my eyes snapping up to see blue eyes burning a hole through me. He smiled softly, tightening his grip around me to pull me impossibly closer to him.

"Hi."

"What time is it?"

"I have no idea." I confessed, looking around the room to realize the sun had gone down and it was extremely dark outside his window. He groaned as I pulled out of his grip, digging my phone out of my back pocket before looking at it. I frowned when I saw I had three missed calls from Harry, but locked it before Luke could see. "12:30."

"Oh shit." He mumbled, sitting up slowly and pushing his palms into his eyes. "We slept for like seven hours."

"Guess we were really exhausted."

He scoffed lightly, tilting his head to the side to look at me. "Alli I couldn't sleep knowing you hated me." He confessed, his eyes wide as he looked at me.

"Luke... I didn't hate you. I wanted to, but I couldn't."

"You've said that before."

"I meant it then and I mean it now." I said honestly, knowing we would never move past this hurdle thrown at us unless we were completely honest.

"Alli... I really am so sorry."

"I know, Luke."

"I just... I just keep picturing you walking away from me that day... it- it breaks my heart to think about how betrayed you felt."

"It wasn't great." I mumbled, crossing and uncrossing my fingers. "But I also know it wasn't completely your fault."

"I know... but...." He trailed off, bringing his knees into his chest and pushing his head against the limbs. I watched as he rocked slowly back and forth, keeping his head hidden from me.

"What, Luke?"

"Calum might have purposely tried to prevent me from going to see you, but I still ignored your calls... I just didn't realize how much time had passed." He confessed, my heart thumping heavily. "I-I just... I wanted to help him... I thought he was a friend." He chuckled darkly at the word, shaking his head angrily.

"I understand, Luke."

"I was just so dumb... I can't believe how blind I had been to him and Lexi's deal-"
