"I'm gonna fucking kill him."
"No, Luke. Please stop." Alli pleaded, following quickly on my heel.
"He can't just fucking come up to you when I'm not there and hurt you."
"I'm okay, Luke please just stop." She pulled me to a stop, surprising me by her strength as she pulled me back around to face her. "You're sick, let me take you back to bed."
"As much as I would love for you to take me to bed, I need to rip his head off first."
"Please Luke, just let it go."
"Why? Why do you want me to just drop it? He fucked up your back. You bled, you have a ginormous fucking bruise and you just want me to let it go?"
"Yes."
"Why?" I asked, clearly annoyed. I didn't care how badly she wanted me to just let it go, I wasn't going to let him get away with hurting my girlfriend. He can't just disappear for a week only to show up when I'm not around to get her by herself. Absolutely not.
"Because. You already punched him. There's obviously a bigger problem here and if he has to let it out on me then I'll let him."
"That doesn't even make any sense."
"Luke-"
"No. He can't hurt you like that." I watched as she open her mouth, only to close it again, not sure what to say. I gave her a couple seconds, watching her pleading eyes as she begged me to not go hunt him down. When she couldn't come with anything else to say I tore out of her grip, rushing up his driveway and pounding on the door, ignoring all of Alli's pleas to stop.
"Yes? Oh hey Luke." I was momentarily taken back when I saw Calum's sister answer the door, and it took everything in me to smile politely at her when all I could see was red.
"Hi, is Calum here?"
"Yeah, he's in his room. You can go up." She said, barely glancing at Alli before moving out of the way to let us in. I thanked her before sprinting up the stairs, Alli hot on my trail as I practically knocked down his door.
His head shot towards the door, eyes wide before he realized who it was. He rolled his eyes, refocusing his attention on his laptop. Alli grabbed hold of my wrist, attempting to pull me back once again. Without looking back at her I tore out of her grip, slamming closed the top of his computer. He pulled out his hand just before it would've been slammed under the top, what a shame.
"What the fuck is your problem?" I seethed, steam probably visibly coming out of my ears.
"What the fuck are you talking about?"
"Why do you hate her so much?"
"You used to hate her too."
"You know I didn't."
"Could've fooled me." He said, placing his laptop on his bed before standing up. I hated to admit it, but Calum could be intimating at times. I may have had height but he had muscle. A lot more muscle than me.
"Luke, please, just let's go." I watched as Calum glared at Alli over my shoulder, his brown eyes darkening in anger.
"Yeah, listen to your girlfriend."
"Yeah, my girlfriend. And do you know what you did to my girlfriend?"
"Nothing you haven't done. You do remember how you used to treat her, right? You know there is no way she really forgives you. You treated her like shit."
I clenched my fists at my sides, anger boiling every part of me. Without thinking about it I lunged at him, pushing him back and watching as he stumbled before falling to the floor.
