Anjali was very happy today , as her Raja is going to comeback forever today , from 11 years she is waiting for this day , every year Raja used to come for a month and then go back to the big city for his studies , but finally his studies are over and he would be coming back today !
Anjali didnt know when her feelings changed for Rajendra , from friendship to love , Anjali thinks may be it was always love as she was always possessive of her Raja , her Raja was hers alone , period.
Her Raja always brought gifts for her when he came in between his schooling
When she was 6 he brought her doll when she was 7 he brought her a soft toy , when she was 8 he brought her chocolates , when she was 9 he brought her books and Anjali loved them and from then she asked Rajendra only for books and her Raja had happily complied
It was when she was 14 he had gifted her a bracelet with his name on it which he had bought for her with his 1st salary as an intern , it was nothing fancy just a simple leather bracelet with his name in wood
He had promised her he would soon replace it with gold .
He didnt know that Anjali was very happy with the simple bracelet , all she wanted was for him to stay with her forever .
She quickly got Ready in a salwar suit in red color which was Rajendra favourite and wore bangles as Rajendra had bought for her last time and told her to wear it when he came again.
She was completely ready and was waiting for Rajendra she was sitting on her house window to see Raja arriving
"He won't come fast even if you keep on looking at the window" her mother Rekha teased her
"Maa!" Anjali said a little embarassed
"common Rekha you know she will wait whatever we say afterall its her Raja" said her father Rahul in a amusing tone while Anjali just glared at them , but she still had a small smile on her face as nothing could spoil her mood today her Raja was coming back home , her best friend, her love.
Soon she saw Rohit's car approaching they had gone to take Rajendra back
She ran out as soon as she saw the car coming to a halt
"Aunty , Aunty where is Raja?" she asked as she saw only Rahul and Padmini standing there beside the car
They smiled looking at Anjali
"I am sorry beta(child) Raja has to stay there for one more month , there are his certificates which he has to collect and it is not still processed by his college" Padmini replied
Heraing this Anjali's face fell , she wanted to cry but she controlled and gave a small smile to them and ran back to her room , she sat near the window and took a deep breadth to control her crying
"It seems someone missed me alot!" Rajendra said near her ear while covering her eyes
"Raja!" Anjali exclaimed happily and turned to hug him
They hugged each other , and Anjali cutely slapped Rajendra's back
"ahh violent girl!" exclaimed Raja exaggerating
"why did you not come out with aunty and uncle?" Anjali asked him
"I wanted to surprise you" said Rajendra with a grin
"now will you keep only glaring at me , or welcome me also properly?"
"you don't get any welcome ! since you pranked me!" with that Anjali ran from there showing her toungue to Rajendra in a teasing manner
"you know I'll catch you Anjali as always!" shouted Rajendra behind her before running after her
Their parents smiled seeing this.
They Ran near the pond where they used to always play when they were children
Raja finally caught her from behind the waist and lifted her and then spun her around while they both laughed
"okay okay put me down Raja"said Anjali between giggles
"Not until you say sorry "answered back Raja
"sorry ; for what?" asked Anjali confused
"for running away from me Rani! I told you not to run away from me" said Raja little seriously
"okay okay sorry baba" said Anjali with a pout
and Rajendra smiled seeing her cute pout.
They were again sitting near the pond with Anjali's head on Rajendra's shoulder
"You will come with me na Rani when i come to take you forever?" asked Rajendra and Anjali was dumbfounded
