Dark only began to bottle his emotions up even more as he got older. His father never paid any attention to him and when he did it was to scold him.
All of his father's harshness made him spend long hours studying his magic book.
Dark started to learn more complicated spells that only some of the most powerful demons could pull off correctly.
He also was starting to become a master manipulator. All he had to do was use his deep soothing voice to talk anyone into doing anything for him.

Dark's POV
(Seventeen Years Old)

"I hope you've all been practicing your fire spells for the test." The teacher says.
"Dark." A glitchly voice whispers in my ear.
I turn my head to face my long time good friend, Anti.
"Yes?" I ask.
"Do you have a super cool spell planned for the test?" I nod.
"I'm sure yours will be really cool too. Weren't you practicing the one from page 461 in my spell book?" I question.
He looks down at a piece of paper in his binder.
"Yeah, I'm super nervous. I really hope it works." Green oozes from his septiceye out of nervousness.
"I can see that." I use my magic to make a tissue appear before handing it to him.
"Thanks man." He takes the tissue from me and wipes his eye.
"Let's get started." The teacher says.

Everyone does a basic spell from the volume one book of fire magic. It's all pretty lame in my opinion. Finally it's Anti's turn to go and I silently cheer him on from the back of the classroom.
Every couple seconds he has to wipe green goo from his septiceye.
"U-um. My name is-s Anti
S-Septiceye and I'm going to do-o a fire sum-umon spell." He says.
"Go ahead Anti." The teacher tells him.

Relax. Take a deep breath.

His eyes go wide for a second as he hears my voice inside of his mind.

I'll teach you how to do this later. I believe in you.

He looks at me and I give him a thumbs up. He then puts his arms out in front of him, palms up, and closes his eyes.
"Azwaki himute jepalu." He speaks the spell and suddenly fire in the shape of headphones appears in his hands.
Anti opens up his eyes and smiles. The whole class begins to clap.

Say Unçaquo.

He does a slight nod to acknowledge the fact that he heard me.
"Unçaquo." He repeats the word I told him to and the flames turn green. He smiles and the class claps even louder. They all ooh and ah at Anti's work.
"Good job Anti." The teachers normally emotionless face softens a bit.
He then pushes his hands together in a clap like motion, extinguishing the flames.
Making his way back to his seat I see the smile on his face grow even bigger.
"You did it!" I congratulate him.
"I did." Disbelief is evident in his voice.
"And lastly to go....Dark." The teacher calls my name.
"Good luck!" Anti says as I get up from my seat and head to the front of the room.

"My name is Dark Iplier and the spell I'm going to do is......well it's not really a spell. You'll see." I tell them.
Taking my left hand I face it palm up in front of me. Closing my eyes, a flame appears in the center of my hand. The class claps and I open up my eyes.
"Good wo-" I cut off the teacher by manipulating the fire from a small flame into a very small person. The class oohs.
The little flame person then starts to dance around my palm. Doing twirls and ballet moves.
Next it turns into a butterfly mid dance and flies about an inch above my hand. It's wings flap in a very realistic manner.
Finally, the butterfly turns into a pencil which I grab hold of and write in the air, Dark, with fire.
My name stays there for a minutes and then disappears.
The whole room is silent until Anti starts to clap as loud as he can and everyone else joins in.
"Splendid job Dark." The teacher nods at me.
Crushing the fire pencil in manhandled I make my way back to my seat next to Anti.
"That was amazing!" I smile.
"Why thank you. I'm proud of you too. That spell you did is a hard one." I say.
The bells rings and everyone gets up and dashes for the door.
"Read chapter one of water magic!" The teacher yells to us but barely anyone probably heard him.

I casually walk out of the classroom and make my way down the hall.
"Dark!" A females voice says my name from behind me.
I turn to see a girl with blonde hair and yellowish eyes.
"What you did was super cool." She says.
"Why thank you." I say.
"Um, I was wondering if you wanted to hang out some time?" She asks, her eyes glowing with how nervous she is.
Honestly, the last thing I want to do is hang out with this girl, but wanting to keep how everyone sees me the same; I agree.
"I would love to." I make sure my voice is extra deep.
The girl squeals and electricity floes through her hair.
"See ya' around Dark!!!" She smiles brightly and runs away in the other direction.

"New admirer?" Anti asks as he walks next to me.
"Yup, but she seems different. Like she would make a great addition to our friend group." I say.
Anti turns his head to look all around us as we walk for the door that leads outside.
"What friend group?" He asks making me chuckle.
"Whatever." I smile.
We walk down the street towards his house so I can help him with spells and other things.

Anti is my best friend, my only friend actually. Without him I wouldn't know what to do. He's been here since we were kids and no one can separate us now.
I'm so glad that he's my friend.
He's the nicest friend a person could ask for.
