Dark's POV
Anti and I appear in the room that Lucifer directed us to.
There we find many guards talking amongst one another.
Once they notice us, I can feel them rolling their eyes behind their helmets.
"If it isn't the ass kisser himself: Dark Iplier." A man with a deep voice growls as he walks towards us.
I stand up straighter with my arms folded behind my back.
"That would be Sir Iplier to you scum." I reply in most monotone voice that I've done in a while.
"Wanna repeat that?" He asks, getting up in my face.
This is Lucifer's second in command.
He hates me in every way, shape, and form.
"Stand down Glace." The commander, Vine, says as he places his hand on his shoulder.
Vine growls before stomping away.
"I'm so sorry about him." Vine apologizes.
I just shake my head.
"It's quite alright." I tell him. "Now what is it that you needed our assistance with?"
Vines eyes then light up.
"Just put all you electronics in here." He says.
I raise an eye brow at him in concern.
"They can tend to interfere with the room that we're about to enter."
I nod and we both place our hologramets, and ear things into a basket.
I then protect the basket with my magic so no one else can touch it.
"Now follow."
We follow Vine out the room and down the hall.
After we make it halfway down, he pushes on the wall which opens up to a secret room.
"So in this room we have a Demon. We believe he may be a leader of some sort in a rebel camp. We had to fortify this room so that no common magic or strength magic could be used." Vine says.
We head I to the room and down a large corridor that leads to a large glass window.
"One way glass." Vine comments.
I look through to see a man with dried blood on his face.
His fingers are all bend in different directions: broken.
It seems as though he's either passed out or sleeping.
"What do you need us for?" Anti asks.
"Crack him. He won't tell us the plans of the rebel camps."
We turn away from the glass and follow Vine even further in.
We go past so many security doors and locked metal doors before coming to just a normal wooden one.
When that one is opened, the man is revealed.
"Good luck." Vine says as he closes the door behind us.
Once the door is closed, I snap my fingers.
The man awakens.
All he does is glare at me.
"Good afternoon Mr. Bend." He doesn't even look surprised about my knowing of his last name.
"I am here to help you." I assure him.
"Oh yeah?" His voice cracks and sounds like he hasn't had a glass of water in days.
"Then why aren't you getting me out of here?" He asks.
I just chuckle.
"I am here to make sure that they do not kill you Sir."
I make it seem like I'm lying so that Vine won't be suspicious.
"And why would you ever want to do that?" He asks.
"Because it would pain me to see a fellow Demon be killed."
Kelvin looks at me for a second and then nods.
"Okay then." He mumbles. "What do I have to do."
Well that was easier than I thought it would be.
"Close your eyes." I instruct.
He does so.
"Now, I want you to tell me what you were doing at the rebel camp."
His nose twitches before he gives his response.
"I....I was talking with some Humans." He says.
"About what?" I ask.
"About how a Human child had just come. I had asked them to treat him nicely."
I roll my eyes.
"Now tell me. Why does your rebel camp exist."
Kelvin's eyes shoot open.
"You're just trying to get me killed!" He shouts.
I shake my head and sigh.
"I guess we'll have to do this the hard way."
I close my eyes and walk over to the Demon.
He squirms in his chair as I put my index and middle finger on his temple.
He then ceases to wiggle around as I enter his mind.
When I open my eyes, I'm inside his head.
I can see him standing in the corner of his mind; scared.
"It's okay." I tell him as I step closer.
"No it not!" He yells. "You lied to me!"
I shake my head.
"No, I didn't. I made it seem that way so I wouldn't be caught." I tell him.
Kelvin just rolls his eyes.
"What do you want?!" He yells, almost Human like tears trailing down his cheeks.
"I really am here to help you." I say.
"When I exit your mind I want you to tell me that you were not a leader of the rebel camp." I say.
He looks confused.
"I want you to say that you had just gotten there a few days ago because you were kick out of your parents house."
He nods his head slowly.
"Cry as you tell me that you had nowhere else to go. Lie and say that you don't even like Humans." I say.
"Act like you were pretending to get along with them so you wouldn't be kicked out."
Now I'm done speaking.
Kelvin wipes away his tears and nods.
I nod back before exiting his mind.
I open my eyes and am back in the real world.
Anti stands behind me with his hands on my shoulders.
By the feel of it, he was lending me some of his magic.
"Thanks." I say.
"No problem."
Now all my attention is turned back to Kelvin.
"So Mr. Bent, tell me why the rebel camp exists."
He takes in a deep breath before responding.
"I haven't even been there that long." He lies.
"My parents kicked me out so I had nowhere to go. I managed to find the camp and decided to pretend to get along with Humans."
A single year falls down his face.
"I don't even like them! They're so gross and smelly. Every second I was there, I wanted to, leave."
I surpress a smile.
"So you weren't a leader?" I ask.
He shakes his head violently.
"No! I wasnt even close to being added to look out yet." He says.
"Alright, then-"
My eyes widen as I feel my body fill with little bumps.
Fear courses through my veins and my feet hurt as if I've been running for a while.
Y/n.
I turn away from Kelvin and bang on the door.
Vine opens it and run to the next.
"Open all the doors!" I demand of him.
"Why? What happened?" He asks.
"You got what you need." I tell him.
"Now it seems like my pets are in danger!"
I feel disgusted at calling them my pets.
Vine's eyes widen.
"Oh! Of course Mr. Iplier!"
Vine opens all the doors with his magic.
"You go, I've got to wrap things up with this boy."
Anti and I then take off down the long hallway of opened doors.
Don't worry Y/n!
We're on our way!
