Dark got older and became seen as more of a colder person. He still practiced spells all the time and never grew apart from Anti.
Following his name be started to become more interested in dark magic; spells that even higher ups try to avoid.
He used his power to manipulate people more and more. He wanted to prove himself better and different from his father.
The second he got the chance he moved out of his father's house and got a place with his best friend, Anti.
Over the years Anti got really good at all the spells that Dark taught him and also decided to take up dark magic. He went from a shy and quiet demon to a straight to the point psychotic maniac.
Dark's POV
(Twenty-One Years Old)
"Oh Darkie~" Anti sings loudly as he enters the apartment.
"Yeah?" I ask, grabbing an Apple off the kitchen table.
"Could we, I don't know, go mess with some dreams tonight?" His voice glitches between different pitches.
"Sounds lovely." I say.
"Ugh, I'm sick of Mr. Prim and Proper." He scoffs.
"Now now," I take a bite out of my apple. "I'm sick of you're glitching and I don't say anything about that. So shut it." I tell him.
"Even your insults are bad with that soothing, gentle voice!" He groans.
"Let's just get to work." He nods.
Anti and I have what you would call....strange jobs. We make deals with other demons and then we kill them. Harsh, I know. But their soulless screams and thick, dark blood is so enjoyable.
The last deal I made was with a woman. She just had a child and asked our King for some help. She claimed that she didn't know how to raise a child and would be a horrible mother. Her cry for help was heard, but not by the King. After I heard her message I took it into my own hands and appeared into her home one night.
•!•!!•Flashback•!!•!•
Please, if someone can hear me. King, if you can hear me I need help. My daughter was born two days ago and I have no one to help me raise her. No husband, no boyfriend, no family at all. If you can hear my cry for help please send me someone to help me raise my child or show me how to.
A lady's voice is beamed into my mind. She asks for help and my job is to make it seem like I'm helping her and then to ruin everything she has. I smirk.
"What's with the evil look?" Anti, who is sitting next to me on the couch, asks.
"A new job offer." I tell him.
"Ooh!" He smiles creepily.
"Tell me the details."
"Well it's a woman who's asking for help with her child because she has no family and the father is not there to help her." Anti nods.
"So by the smirk on your face I'm guessing you already have an idea for a deal?" He asks.
"Correct." I stand from the couch.
"I think I'll go pay her a little visit." I say.
"Don't get too carried away." He says.
"I won't."
And with that I disappear into a cloud of smoke.
I appear in a small house that is brightly lit. A woman is in the kitchen and a baby is crying really loudly.
"Please just stop crying!" She screams while putting her hands over her ears.
I chuckle at the sight, which catches the attention of her.
"Who are you?" She more demands than asks.
"The demon sent here to help you." She smiles and jumps up from her chair.
"Really?!" She asks.
"Yes, but first we have to make a deal." She nods her head eagerly.
"I'll help you with you child if..." I trail off for suspense purposes.
"Yes?" She asks.
"If you give up your main magic ability." Her face goes pale.
Based off of her brown hair and dark green eyes she's a demon who specializes in Earth magics.
"I'll give it up." She tells me.
I hide my smirk and stick out my hand, waiting for her to shake it.
"Then let's seal the deal." I say.
She doesn't hesitate to take my hand and shake.
In doing so rocks fall from her hand that I'm shaking and a green aura leaves her body and enters mine. She can't see the green aura, that is her Earth magic, leaving her.
I let go of her hand and smile a kind smile.
"Now let me help you calm her down." I turn from her and walk into the kitchen.
Is my Earth magic ability really gone?
I read her mind.
There is then a loud crashing sound from behind me.
I turn around and see her rubbing her head while laying on the ground.
"I would not suggest trying that." I advise.
"I can't promise the explosion will be so small next time." I turn back around and walk into the kitchen where I see her daughter laying on a blanket on the table.
She was right.
She is a terrible mother that knows nothing about parenting.
The little girl continues to cry.
Reluctantly, I use Earth magic to make flowers float above the child. The second the flowers appear the little girl stops crying and starts giggling.
"How didn't I think of that?" The lady asks while entering the room.
"Sometimes the most obvious answers are right in front of us."
I look back at the baby.
She has light orange eyebrows and greenish eyes. I start to chuckle as the woman gives me a weird look.
"She's a wild fire." I tell her.
"What?" She asks confused.
"Your specialty was Earth magic. The man you had her with must of specialized in fire magic based off of how your daughter looks.
Fire magic and Earth magic specialty parents make a child with powerful fire magic as their specialty." She stand there with wide eyes.
"How do you know that?" She asks.
"I know a lot of things." I tell her.
