Y/n's POV"So we're actually doing this?" Jack asks.
"We have to." Mark admits. "We have to at least try to save our parents."
Jack nods and frowns.
"I mean, in the short time that I knew your mom, she was like a mom to me too." He says.
"So it's settled then. We're going to save my mom and Mei."
I can't help just smile widely as those words leave my mouth.
"Let's get started on this plan then."
Anti begins to talk about plans.
I'm about to listen when I notice that Dark is being extra quiet.
I think towards him to see that he's staring down at his folder hands.
"What's wrong?" I ask, putting my hand over both of his.
"What if she doesn't like me?" He asks.
I just laugh.
He looks up at me, confused.
"Your mom will love you. She loves everyone." I assure him.
"Are you sure?"
This is probably the most unsure that I've ever seen him.
"Absolutely."
He squeezes my hand and smiles.
"So you're wanting to use this Phil guy; why?" Anti gets my attention.
"Oh-uh, because there seems like a reason that he's here. I know Phil and he would never come up here unless he had to." I say, slightly flustered.
"What do you think drove him to come up here?" Dark asks me.
"For sure it was Leader Moskoff." Seán answers for me.
"Who is this 'Leader Moskoff' you guys keep talking about?" Anti questions his brother.
"He's the leader of The Systems. Basically our King." Mark says.
"My mom and him were a thing even though he's married." I mumble.
"He also wants to kill us." Seán reminds everyone.
Dark's expression turns worried.
"Then why don't we kill him?" He says.
"It's not that easy." I tell him. "He's heavily guarded twenty-four seven."
Anti rolls his eyes.
"Also you guys are Demons and you'll absolutely terrify everyone around."
Mark reminds them.
"Just use a spell to make yourselves look Human when we enter The Systems." I say.
"Do those exist?" Seán asks.
Dark nods.
"They do."I hope this goes well.
"So the plan is that we go to the castle and let Phil take the three of us," I start. "Then you two follow behind. When we get to The Systems you'll hide until the execution." I tell them.
"And once they're about to be executed you'll come out to save them and us." Everyone nods. "After we take everyone there to rebel camps to hide out until war starts." I finish.
"And what about Leader Moskoff?" Mark asks.
"We leave him there to rot."
"When do we do this?" Jack pipes up.
"We will be there in a bit." Dark says.
We all turn to him to see he's holding that small circle thing to his ear.
"Yes...of course...goodbye sir."
He then puts the circle into his pocket.
"Now." Dark rellies to the question that we all forgot about.
Everyone is too shocked to even speak.
I just smirk.
"Let's do this."- - -
"Okay, I need you to hold still." Dark tells me as he gets ready to reposition my ankle.
"I'll try."
Dark quickly places his hands on my bare foot and turns my ankle into place.
I bite my lip to try and hold back a yelp of pain.
"This is gonna only feel like a pinch because of that drink I gave you earlier." Dark says.
I nod as he wraps his left hand around my ankle and places his right hand on top of it.
He takes in a deep breath before closing his eyes.
My ankle warms up to uncomfortable temperatures that make me wiggle a bit.
"Hold her down." Dark says.
Jack comes out of nowhere and leans over me, holding down my arms.
I look down at Dark to see his eyelids are slightly glowing pink.
The pink goes from his eyes and shows his veins, for it's travel in through them.
The pink light glows and goes all the way to his hands where my foot and calf glow pink too.
I jump as Dark's eyes shoot open and he stares right into my soul with his now glowing pink eyes.
It feels like he stares into my eyes for hours until they finally go back to their normal all black color.
The pink inside of him stops glowing and slides through his veins.
I watch as it goes through his hands and oozes out of his finger tips.
Dark then takes in a deep breath and let's go of my ankle.
Jack let's go of me.
"Good as new." Dark tells me.
I move my ankle around and its almost as if it was never broken to begin with.
"Now let's go get ready."
Dark reaches his hand out to me and I take it.
He helps me up.
"I'm gonna go grab some potions. You should go check the wall behind your bookshelf in your room." He then disappears into a cloud of smoke.I wanted to ask what the hell that means, but okay.
I get up and make my way to the stairs.
I go up them slowly cause I'm afraid that I'm gonna somehow rebrake my newly healed ankle.
That obviously isn't the case though.
I make it up the stairs perfectly fine.
Next, I head down the hallway to my room.
I enter it and my eyes immediately go to the book case.
I go over to it and try to push it, but it won't budge.
"Fuck." I whisper to myself.
I don't want a bookshelf to beat me so keep pushing in it with all my strength until it somehow just falls over.
I gasp as all the books go flying off of it before itself falls to the floor with a loud crash.
"What's did you do?" I hear Anti ask from behind me.
I turn around to see him walk out of a cloud of green.
"Oops?" I say with caution.
He just smirks and rolls his eyes before disappearing.
When the smoke clears up, I step up into the bookshelf and push on the wall behind it.
It easily pushes in.
Inside are two thing.
There's a pair of earrings and a small dagger with a f/c handle.
I pull out the earrings and examin them further.
They're dangling earrings.
One has a black gem in it while the other has a f/c gem in it.
I put them on.
I then pull out the dagger and take a closer look at it.
On its handle written in a bold cursive font it says, 𝓚𝓲𝓽𝓽𝔂.
I roll my eyes and giggle before placing it in the loop of my belt.
"Y/n!" Mark shouts from down the hall.
I rush out my room and over to him.
"Yes?"
He glares at the bathroom door and then looks back over at me.
"Your boyfriend is hogging the bathroom!" Mark tells me. "And I really have to pee!" He more so tells to Dark.
"And you want me to...?" I trail off.
Mark is about to say something, but I'm then teleported inside of the bathroom.
"Dark what th-"
He seems nervous.
"You okay?" I ask.
He nods.
"Just working up the courage to leave the bathroom." I chuckle.
"Hey, maybe you should not wear your contacts anymore." I tell him.
"Why?" He asks.
"I already told you that you look cute without them, but your mom will probably want to see you for who you really are."
He smiles at me.
Slowly I see the brown specks in his eyes appear.
I smile back.
"Beautiful."
He grabs my hand and pulls me close.
"DARK! Y/N!" Mark screams.
"Maybe we should leave before Mark smashes open this door and kills us." I suggest.
Dark nods.
"Yeah."
I turn around and open the door.
Dark and I walk out and last Mark.
"Finally!" He growls as he enters the bathroom and slams the door shut.
I chuckle.
"What a drama queen."
