???'s POV

It's been so long since they've left.
I've begun to fear that maybe I won't be able to fulfill my promise to Mei and Nova.

I want them to get to say goodbye.
I don't want them to be executed without seeing their children one last time.

I've watched as Nova has slowly given up on living.
She refuses every meal and snack brought to her.
All she does is lay on the floor all day and stare at the ceiling.
My heart hurts for her.
"Love....Sky...grave...miss.....kids..." She repeats these words over and over again.
I frown at the sight of her.
Her eyes look dull and her body weight has noticeably lowered.
Game seems worried about her in some twisted way.
He'll sometimes come down and try to get her to eat.
That's the only time that she ever moves.
She'll stuff her mouth with the food given to her and Game with leave satisfied.
Sadly, the second he leaves she spits it out and wipes it under her bed.
This is the sight of a woman who doesn't want to live anymore.
"Hey Nova." I say as I make myself visible to her.
She doesn't respond.
"Y/n is one step closer to starting the revolution on Earth."
Still nothing.
"Her and Dark have become quite close. They're destinies are coming to fruition. They are in love."
I watch her eyes move so she's looking at me without turning her head.
I smile.

Something that she's finally interested in.

"He loves your girl with all of his heart. He's even coming out of his shell because of her."
I notice a small smile on her face.
I open my mouth to say more when the door to the prison opens.
Her expression goes back to being blank.
"I'll be back another time Nova."
I then go through a portal and leave.

Mei hasn't been good, but she hasn't given up.
She knows that I keep my promises.
Deep in her heart she still knows that she will see Mark one more time before she dies.
She also knows what will happen if Mark, Seán, and Y/n come here though.
Mei hasn't been eating much either.
Her reasons aren't the same as Nova's though.
They have barely given the poor woman any food which has made her start to thin out even more too.
She isn't stupid though.
She saves most of her food to eat when she gets really hungry.
Mei also gets up from her bed at least twice every hour to get her blood pumping.
I make myself visible to her.
"How you doing Mei?" I ask.
She smiles at me.
"Good." She says. "I got an extra slice of bread today!"
I frown.
"They'll be here soon. I promise." I tell her.
Now it's her turn to frown.
"As much as I want to see my sons, I don't want them to get hurt."
I nod.
"I know that the second they come here that they'll be captured and executed along side Nova and I."

Man this woman makes me want to cry.

"Speaking of Nova; how is she doing."
I shy away from her gaze.
"Not good." I say.
Looking back at her, I notice her sadness.
"I need to talk to her." Mei says.
Then suddenly an idea pops into my head.
I put my hands to get her and close my eyes.
Next, I slowly pulls them apart from one another.
In my hands appears a small circular object.
"What's that? A marble?" She asks curiously.
I shake my head.
"This is a device that can be used to send voice memos to people." I tell her. "They're mostly used as birthday cards."
Mei's eyes light up.
"When I press the button say whatever you want to say to Nova."
Mei takes a deep breath and I press the button.
"Hey Nova. I know we haven't talked in a long time, but know that I still think about you and care about you. I've heard how you aren't doing so well." She hesitates with her next words.
"...Y/n loves you and I know that. She herself has told me many times that she loved you and just wanted you to love her back."
Her eyes well up with tears.
"I miss you so much Nova. Even though we both know the outcome of this whole endeavor, we can't give up."
I smile as tears run down her cheeks.
"We have to keep fighting! We have to show them that we are survivors!"
She wipes away her tears.
"So eat your goddamn food and remember that your daughter wouldn't want you to lie around everyday, letting your bones slowly turn to dust."
Mei smiles.
"I believe in you. I believe in us. And even if we don't make it; Game will not come out on top. He will not win because our kids are coming for us whether we like it or not."
I feel hope for them.
"And we both know that our children aren't going down without a damn good fight."
She stops talking and I end the message.
"How was that?" She asks, sounding nervous.
"Perfect!" I cheer.
I want to give her a hug, but have to control myself.
"Stay healthy Mei. I'll go deliver the message."
I wave goodbye to Mei before making a blue portal into Nova's room.

Once I enter I see the same thing.
She's lying in the floor and mumbling to herself.
"Love...Sky.......grave..miss....kids..."
I walk over to her and hold out the marble.
"This is from Mei." I say.
"Love..Sky...."
"You just press the small button and it'll play her message."
"..grave...miss..........."
"Nova?"
"....kids..."
I sigh and press the button before placing the marble on her chest.
An image of Mei shows up above it and her message begins to play.
"Hey Nova. I know we haven't talked in a long time-"
I watch as she continues to repeat those words.
My head hangs low as I exit her room.

I hope Mei's message reaches her.
