Dark's POV

I feel empty and drained.
I can tell that I've used some magic today, but not enough to make me pass out.
In the vast darkness around me I ponder why I'm in my energy void.

I hate that when in here I can never remember a thing.

All I know is about my magic when I'm here.
Every other aspect of my life doesn't exist until my body is recharged and ready to wake up.

I shouldn't be here too long.

I create a chair out of the darkness and take a seat on it.

Someone must have knocked me out.

I conclude.
That is until I put my hand on my neck and feel a bruise there.
That's when I groan.

Magic.
I was knocked out with an injection of Angel tears and Hell dirt.

I mean back in my chair and try to remember who I even am.
I do this every time that I come here.
I try to find me.
I search my memories, but there's only my last experiences being here.

Maybe I have a family out there and I got angry for some reason.

I shake my head.
That one doesn't feel right.

Maybe my parents found out my true potential and knocked me out.

Possibility.

I look like a grown man though.
Possibly abused my girlfriend and got apprehended.

I frown.
That doesn't feel right.
I feel someone on my left.
I turn to look, but no ones there.
I'm about to go back to thinking when I feel them shiver.
I instinctively warm up my body.
They feel closer.
I smile and let my thoughts take over once more.

- - -

I spent who knows how long just sitting there before I begin to see a light.

Guess that's my ticket out of here.

I stand and start towards it.
The warmth of it makes me shiver.
I can feel my heart warming up.
I cringe at the feeling and immediately turn down my body temperature to below freezing.
That makes me feel better.
I continue on into the light until I can't see even myself anymore.

My eyes open.
I'm in my room.
I let out a breath of relief.
I look all around until my eyes land on a figure curled up against me.
It's Y/n.
I smile.
She looks so peaceful.
I brush a lock of hair behind her ear.
Then my eyes wonder to her still broken ankle.

They were probably waiting for me to wake up.

I carefully get up and out of bed.
A small amount of light comes through my darkened curtains to show me that it's morning time.
As I go to check my hologramet, I see some dark chargers still on my hand.
I wipe them off and watch as they skitter across the floor and under my bed.
Taking one last glance at Y/n, I teleport out of my room in a puff of black smoke.

Mark's POV

I hear banging in the kitchen that brings me out of my sleep.
I groan and quietly curse whoever it is.
Even after what feels like forever, it doesn't stop.
"Jesus Christ." I mumble while pushing myself off the floor.
My eyes travel over to the couch only to see that Y/n isn't there.
I jump up in panic and run towards the ruckus coming from the kitchen.
"Y/n what are y-" I cut myself off as I see Dark standing there with flour all over his suit.
I can't help but burst out laughing.
"Shut it." He growls.
"What's with the flour?" I ask, still laughing.
"I'm trying to make breakfast for my Human." He tells me.
I see a hint of black on his face.

Is that how be blushes?
Weird.

"Speaking of Y/n," I say looking around the kitchen. "Where is she?"
Dark rolls his eyes.
"I'm my room." He says.
"Why is she there?" I ask, only kinda panicked.
"I do not know. When I woke up she was next to me."
I sit down on a chair and sigh.
"She must have gone up there herself when everyone else was asleep." I say to myself more than him.
I watch as he tries to crack open an egg.
His thumb ends up going through it and egg gets everywhere.
I hold in a laugh as he turns to me, wiping the yoke from his face.
"Need some help?" I ask, chuckling.
"No, I'm pretty sure I can handle it."
He tries to crack another egg.
This one slips from his hands and falls into the floor, breaking.
Dark sighs in frustration.
I quickly stand up and go over to him  before he brakes anything.
I pick up an egg.
"Watch." I tell him.
I hit it lightly on the counter so it cracks slightly.
I then take both of my hands and pull it open so the egg goes right into the pan.
"Now you." I hold out an egg to him.
He stares at it for a while before snatching it from my hand.
He does exactly what I did and ends up with most of the egg in the pan.
"Not bad." I say.
I look to the bowl on the counter to see the powder that's on him in it.
"Pancakes?" I ask.
He nods.
"So that's what's all over you." I feel him glaring at me.
"Grab me some milk and butter."
I feel Dark's gaze on me for a second.
He then breaks and grabs me the things I asked for while I crack open some eggs to out into it.
"Fuck!"
I look behind me to see milk all over the floor.
I sigh and turn back to the bowl.
"This is gonna be a long morning."
