Directly after Dark gets taken away from Y/n's dead body with her soul still in his grasp.

"Make sure he stays in there." I can hear them talking about me. Black tears run down the side of my face. "The last thing we need is for someone who can control dark magic to go on a rampage." It's Gavein who gives these orders.

"I understand." The voice is of a woman, one that I've haven't heard from in a while : Arbre. I hug Y/n's warm soul close to me. "You can't go in there!" Arbre suddenly shouts.
"Quiet." The door swings open and there stand Caila with a worried Arbre behind her. "What the hell are you doing wallowing when we just won a fucking war that would have lasted years, hell, even decades!?" She rushes towards me and stops at the foot of the bed. "So?" I slowly use my elbows to push myself up into a seated position. I'm quick to wipe my tears before presenting Caila with Y/n's soul. "Really a soul got you caught up? Just absorb it! You've done it so many other times before." I pull the soul back towards be and make a barrier around my chest so I don't accidentally absorb her. "What's so different about this soul?" It's clear that she's upset. I open my mouth to speak, but no words come out.
"It's Y/n's soul Caila." Arbre chimes in. I watch as her eyes widen. She stumbles back, Arbre keeping her from falling. "Are you okay?"
"I'm fine." She shakes the woman's hands off of her. "Please leave me and Dark alone for a few." Arbre nods and exits the room, closing the door behind her.

The room is silent. I can't stop the tears. My chest feels tight. I hug the soul of my love and never want to let go. Caila approaches the bed and kneels down in front of me. I can see that she's trying not to cry. Her hand then rests on my knee and I can't help but look her in the eye.

"I know it's sad and this is going to be hard for me to say, but..." She bites her lip and looks away as she says her next words. "You need to let her go. You need to let go of her soul and let her transfer to heaven." She faces me with tears falling down her cheeks. "We both know that she deserves to be somewhere better. We both also know that God would never let her go to hell." I hold out her soul to look at it. It's absolutely beautiful.
"I can't." I mutter. "How can I let go when there's so much left to say, to do." Caila puts her hands over mine.
"You take as long as you need, but soon her soul will fade. You know that fading will have a toll on her decent to heaven." Caila then stands and heads for the door. "Just give her the peace that she deserves." She exits the room and I just sit there feeling stupid. I stare into her soul. It's color represents her perfectly.

I want her to stay forever. I want her soul to stay warm. I want to keep her here with me. I don't ever want to let her go ever again. I want to protect her with my entire being! I want to go to heaven with her...

I frown. It's impossible for a Demon to go to heaven without bursting into a ball of light within minutes. I stand from the bed and walk over to the window. A smile appears on my face as I look out at the world. Houses may be destroyed, but Demons are walking the streets and healing each other. Humans are helping even though they were once enslaved. It's all over. Yes, there will be problems along the way, but Y/n's dream was fulfilled. This time the tears are of joy.

"Do you see that? We won." I hold her soul up to the window as if it can see. "You did this." I say. "Without you I'm almost positive that none of this would have been possible." I stare out at everyone. "You risked your life for those Hell Blades. You even talked people into joining you. You set up the defeat of Moskoff even if you didn't get to save our moms." I sigh and smile as I see Caila helping with cleaning up rubble from the street. "You sacrificed yourself so that Lucifer wouldn't control us anymore."

I step away from the window and go back towards the bed when my foot hits something. I look down to see it's my dark magic book. I lean down and pick it up, careful to not drop her soul. Next I toss the book onto the bed and sit next to it. Something in me makes me wanna open it. I reach out to open it when it opens on its own. The pages flip fast until it gets towards the end of the book. It stops on a blank page. I start to look more closely when suddenly words begin to appear. I jump. Its clearly handwriting.
