Y/n's POV

I exit the bathroom and walk out into the livingroom.
I flip through the book and speed read as I walk to the door.
"Find a spot to put the portal and then go to Hell." I mumble to myself.
"Good idea?"
I sigh, placing my hand on the door knob.
I take one last glance around the room before opening the door.
"Hopefully I make it back."
And with that I exit the house.

The outside world is so pretty.
Even though I ran up here to experience it all, I've barely been able to see anything.
I watch as Demons walk their Humans.
Many Humans look happy while others just look miserable.
I frown at the sight.

They'll all be free soon.

I remind myself.

Just get the blades and they'll be walking around as new people.

My frown turns into a smile at the thought.
Dark thinks I'm crazy for thinking that things could ever be normal.
He doesn't think that Humans and Demons could ever live in peace together.
Maybe not this generation, but I feel that this is how it needs to be.
These people's children's children will get to experience a new world.
One where Demons aren't forced to own a Human or think of them as lowly creatures.
One where Humans will feel a confidence that they haven't felt in who knows how long.

One where Dark and I can be together.

I'm then brought out of my thoughts by a loud whistling sound.
I look to my right to see a group of Demon men.
There's four of them.
One has brown eyes that look Human-like.
The second has glowing yellow eyes.
The third has ice blue ones.
The last Demon holds bright pink orbs.
"What's a fine lady like you doing out and about?" Yellow asks.
"What is that supposed to mean?" I question.
"My friend here means that a lady of light like yourself shouldn't be out here flaunting all that power with no one around to protect you." Pink tells me as he snakes his arm around my waist.
"Protection?" I laugh as I wiggle Pink's arm off of me. "I don't need any protection."
"Feisty." Ice seductively growls. "Just how I like them." He lick his lips.
"She could almost be a fire with that attitude." Yellow says.
Pink nods as him, Yellow, and Ice start to close in on me.
I back up until my back hits a wall.
"Dead end sweetheart." The look in Pink's eyes suggests that he's trying to be sexy; yet it isn't working.
"Back off guys." Brown pushes the three out of the way.
They all groan.
"Leave it to Clint to ruin all the fun." Ice rolls his eyes as he steps back.
"Oh shut it Wren. We all know that you would have just frozen her when you got close enough." Yellow says to Ice or Wren.
"Shut up Rai!" Wren yells at Yellow or Rai.
They then all turn to the silent Pink.
The Demon looks baffled.
"What is it Anwil?" Wren asks.
Anwil, Pink, looks up and shakes his head.
"My charm didnt work on you. How powerful can she be?" He asks.
I raise an eyebrow.
"What do you mean powerful?" I question, mega confused.
"How do you not know you're own power?" Rai asks.
"Maybe her parents didn't want her to know. That happens a lot now." Clint says.
"Alright then." Rai sighs. "You're a Lady of The Light."
I'm still confused.
"That means you're a very rare and powerful type of Demon." Anwil tells me.

Fuck!
I casted that spell to not look suspicious!
Now I've just attracted more attention to myself.

"But the black is weird." Wren points out.
"Why?" I ask, interested.
"Because usually that indicates dark magic." He says.
"Yeah. Ladies of Light usually only have all white features." Clint says.
They all start to come a bit closer to me.
"Well I better get going." I nervously say.
"And why is that?" Wren asks.
"He's right. Stay." Anwil tells me.
I swallow hard.
I close my eyes.
"Teleporteer deze verloren ziel naar hun naaste buur." I whisper.
I feel warmth and a gust of air before opening my eyes slowly.
I'm no longer on the sidewalk, but on a doorstep.
I look to my left and see the four Demons with confused looks on their faces.
"She teleported away!" Anwil shouts in anger.
I turn away and walk away from the door.
Making my way back to the side walk, I go in the total opposite direction.

That was close.

- - -

The sun has begun to set when I finally find the perfect spot to place the portal.
This spot is an abandoned house in an abandoned neighborhood.
The place looks so run down that I don't think anyone would be taking a stroll near by any time soon.
The house I've chosen looks more run down then the rest of them.
I can't help but feel a sense of familiarity as my eyes scan the outside.
You can tell that it is to be a beautiful baby blue color.
The dark oak door has three handprints on it.
The largest hand is in blue.
The hand to the left of it is f/c.
The smallest one is right under those two and is green.
The windows are smashed and there are several large holes in various walls.
Rubble lies all over the lawn along with many holes in the ground.

I wonder what happened to this place.

I hop over rocks and pieces of wall to get to the door.
When I put my hand on the knob and begin to turn it, the doors hinges give out and the door falls to the ground.
I sigh, step over the fallen dark oak door, and head into the dark home.

The place is a mess.
Not only is there rubble everywhere, but it looks as though the family that once lived here left in a rush.
Tables are knocked over and other things are strewn across the floor.
As I'm about to enter the living room something on the floor catches my eye.
I lean down and pick up a stuffed bunny.
As I stand back up I set it down on one of the only tables that aren't knocked over.
Skipping a tour of the living room, I head right upstairs.
I go into the first room on the left.
It's a bathroom.
I push open the shower curtain to reveal a bathtub covered in grime.
I gag, but decide that this is the perfect place for the portal.
I quickly take my bag off my shoulders and take out the book.
I open it up and flip though it until I find the exact thing that I'm looking for.
"Laissez ce portail être une porte qui me mène à l'abîme chaud connu comme le monde souterrain." I read aloud.
As I finish the last word the ground begins to shake.
I push my hands against the sides of the shower as to not fall over.
I watch as a cloud of f/c smoke surrounds me.
I cough as the shaking stops and the smoke clears away.
I am then left with a blue and purple portal on the wall.
"I thought they were purple, but whatever."
Picking my bag off the grimey bathtub bottom, I pull out the glass bottle.
I then open it up and pour the white liquid all over myself.
Throwing my bag over my shoulder, I stare at the blue and purple portal.

"Let's do this."
