Y/n's POV

I cant get last night out of my mind.
Dark was acting so different from his usual self.
The ghost of the kiss still lingers on my lips.
I bring my hand up to my mouth, letting my fingers brush against my lips.
A smile arises on my face.

It was amazing.

The pull for us to be near one another was so strong.
As we dances through the night sky I couldn't help but wish we could have stayed up there forever.
We could have just Waltzed the days away.

That would've been nice.

A knock on my door disrupts my thoughts.
"Come in?" I say, confused of who it could be.
The door opens to reveal Jack and Mark.
In Mark's hand is one of the backapcks that we was careying when we found him.
I raise an eyebrow at him as both him and Jack walk over to the bed, closing the door behind them.
"What's going on guys?" I ask.
They both hop onto my bed.
"I found this bag in my mom's house before we left." Mark says.
"It had my name on it."
I take a look at the bag to see his name is sewn into it.
"What's in it?" I ask.
"I have no fucking clue cause this dude hasn't opened it yet!" Jack complains.
I chuckle.
"I wanted to wait to do this with Y/n." Mark tries to defend himself.
"I dont care why! Just open the damn thing!" Seán nearly shouts.
We all laugh as Mark carefully unzips the backpack.
He slowly opens it, which irritates Jack, and then begins to pull out its contents.
In the bag is a folder, locket, map, and envelope. The envelope has my name on it.
"Why is my name on that?" I ask myself more than them.
Mark shrugs, handing it to me.
"I'll open this last." I say.
"Open your stuff first."
Mark nods and decided to open the folder first.
Inside are a few papers and a ripped picture.
First he picks up the picture.
It's of a man holding Mark when he was todler.
The man's face is scratched out.
"Is that your dad?" Seán asks.
"I think so." Mark replies.
Next he reads one of the papers.

"Dearest Mei,
I am sorry that we must part like this. I love you with all my heart and hate to see you go. I'm glad that you respect my decision about Mark. He just looks too Human and Demons would get suspicious. I hope that you make it somewhere safe without any harm on your way. If you one day come back with Nova and the kids then come find me. I will always live in the same house with hopes of your return. Tell Nova that I burried Jeremy in the Human Cemetery near our house. Don't forget me my love. I will never forget you. I love you so so much. I'm sad that this is goodbye.

-Derek"

We all look at each other.
"Your Dad was a Demon?" Jack asks
"It sounds like he was a really nice guy."
I nod.
"But dont for get that nice Demons do exist. If we lived with any other Demons then we'd have to act like animals." I remind them.
Mark just shakes his head.
"Let's read the next one."

"Dear Mark,
I have no idea when you'll read this or if you will. Your mother has so much to tell you. I dont want to say anything just in case she doesnt want you to know. Just remember that even though I'm not there, I love you. I love your Mom too. Be safe son.

-Your Dad, Derek."

I smile.
"Do you think he's still alive?" I ask.
"I think so." Jack says.
"Maybe." Mark agrees.
"Let's take a glance at this map."
Mark grabs the map and opens it up. It seems to be of the area. Four places are circles and three of them are labeled.
There's one that's labeled Our Home. Another is Nova's Old Home.
The third one is then Human Cemetery.
The fourth circle isnt labeled.
"Odd." I mumble.
"So thats where he lives?" Mark asks himself.
I lean in closer to take a better look at the map.
"That place is far away." I say.
"We can ask Anti about it later." Seán suggests.
Last is the locket.
Mark opens it and inside is nothing.
Well not exactly nothing.
It seems that whatever use to be there was ripped out.
I frown.
"Open your envelope Y/n." Jack tells me.

Almost forgot that I even had it.

I open up the envelope and begin to read aloud the letter that was inside.

"Dear Y/n,
I know that I may have come off as a mean person to you. I know that I didn't do my best at rasing you. I'm sorry for all the trouble I caused. I only ever wanted to protect you. The real world isn't a place for Humans anymore. Get out while you still can. I dont want you to be owned and I for sure dont want you to die like your father did. If you really dont want to leave then find Derek and the kid. I dont know how the kid turned out, but he may be able to help. I love you with all my heart. Never forget that.

-Your Mom, Nova"

My eyes widen.

"Kid?" Mark questions.
"Did your Dad have another kid?" Seán asks.
Mark shrugs.
"I didn't even know my Dad was alive until my mom was forced to tell the whole Systems."
My eyes finally wander up from the letter and towards the door.
It's open.
I feel a shiver tun down my spine.
I feel like someone is watching.
"Y/n? You alright?"
Seán shakes me out of mind.
I nod.
"Yeah."
They then go back to discussing the bags contents.

Dark's POV

"What is happening to me?" I ask myself as thoughts of last night come into my head.
"You need to stop Dark. Unfeeling. Always. No emotions. They will only get you hurt." I remind myself.
A flash of an image pops into my mind.
It's of a f/c casket.
On it is a f/f.
I flinch.
"No." I mumble. "She can't die."
I can hear her.
Her voice is so distinct that i can hear her no matter where she is in the house.
I want it to stop.

Make it stop.

Sehs ruoy thgil krad.
Ebyam siht emit nac eb tnereffid.
Tnod evig pu erofeb uoy neve yrt.

That fimiliar voice comes into my mind.

What?

Change.

I then feel the presence leave my head.
My body wants me to check on Y/n.
Before i can stop myself, I've already walked over to my mirror.
"Look into Y/n's room through the mirror in the hall."
I watch as an image appears on the mirror. It's of Y/n's closed door.
I use my magic to make it open quietly.
I open it just as Mark says, "I didn't even know my Dad was alive until my mom was forced to tell the whole Systems."
I see Y/n's eyes move from looking at the piece of paper in her hand to looking at the door.
It feels like she's staring right at me.

"Y/n? You alright?" Anti's Human brother asks.
She rips her eyed from me and turn to him nodding.
"Yeah." She replied before staring off i to space once again.
I step away from the mirror and watch as the image fades away.
I sigh.
"I'm going crazy." I mumble to myself as my hands brush through my hair.

I always have been crazy.
