Y/n's POV

I wake up from the ungodly pain coming from the left half of my body. I open my eyes to see a tired looking Dark stand in over me. I've never seen his face hold such emotion before. He smiles at me when he notices I'm awake.

"Hey." He whispers, rubbing my hand carefully with his thumb. "Why do I hurt so much?" My voice is hoarse and basically gone. "The left side of you was burned very badly." I nod. "Where's the girl?" I ask. "She's upstairs. She woke up about twenty minutes ago." I go to sit up, but Dark stops me. "Stay lying down." I raise an eyebrow at him in question. "Anti had to try and heal you. He isn't the best at healing magic so you're really scarred. Also his real magic mixed with it and is causing your skin to be very irriated." He tells me. Dark doesn't seem to be doing good his own self. "Are you okay?" I reach out and touch Dark's cheek. "I'm fine." I can tell he's lying. Thats when I notice it. There's dried tears on his cheek, but they're clear. "What happened?" I slide my finger over the dried tears. "You're tears aren't black?" I'm confused. His eyes widen as he pulls his face away from me. "I'm...just tired." I'm too exhausted to question it, so I just wave his off. "Go get some sleep. You must have used too much magic today."

Dark stands up and gives me one last look before walking away. I then close my eyes and fall back asleep.

"Miss?" I feel tugging at my shirt. "Hmm?" I open my eyes to see the little girl from the fountain. Quickly, I sit up. My head spins for a moment as she starts to talk. "The nice man told me that you saved me." She smiles at me. I smile back. "What's your name sweetheart?" I ask. "Peridot." She tells me. "Well Peridot, my name is Y/n." I say. "What happened to you?" She points to my left arm. I look down to see it riddled with scars. "Lucifer hit me with his fire magic instead of you." Peridot frowns. "It's okay though. I'm gonna be fine." She nods. "Will the weird lines go away?" I shrug. "Dark may be able to get rid of most of them but some will stay." Peridot then looks up at me with a large smile on her face. "You're still very pretty!" I return her smile. "Peridot?" Mark walks into the room. He seems shocked to see me awake. "Y/n!" Mark runs over and gives me a hug. I hug him back tightly. "You look better. You didn't look all too hot when you passed out with Peridot in your arms." He says, relief evident in his voice. "I feel great." I tell him. "Well Caila is bringing over a doctor soon. I'm gonna bring Peridot upstairs to clean her up." I look down at Peridot and only now do I notice that her hair is stringy and there's dirt on her arms. "Wait, Caila is coming?" I question. "She wants to talk with you." Mark shoots me a smile before picking up Peridot and heading I to the living room.

I can't help but smile. I can hear Peridot giggling as Mark talks to her while they head upstairs.

It seems like they're getting along nicely.

Taking in a deep breath, I slide myself over so my feet dangle off the side of the table. I carefully push forward until my feet are flat on the floor. Standing up, I slightly wobble.

Caila's coming. That can either be good or bad.

I sigh and slowly make my way towards the downstairs bathroom. It would probably be best to clean myself up before they get here. Going down the hallway, the bathroom door is slightly ajar. I push it open and turn on the light. The first thing I see is my reflection in the mirror. My eyes widen at the sight. I have large scarring on my left cheek and forehead. My left breast and part of my stomach is scarred the worst. Then my left arm has many small scars all over it. I frown at the sight.
