Y/n's POV

"And then I said, 'Stop being so orange'!" I laugh at her bad joke as we walk into the office.
"Well Y/n, you did such a great job today. I'm proud of ya' kid." She says while putting her arm around my shoulders.
"Thanks Doctor."
"No problameo darling." She says in a weird accent.
"Good to see you're back." Hannah greets us.
"Hey Han." I wave to the girl.
"Hi Y/n. There's a man in the room waiting for a check up." She tells us.
"This late?" The Doctor asks.
"It's only about six."
The Doctor grabs the clip board off the table.
"I've got this Y/n. You should head home. Your thirty grandles are in that envelope."
Not paying attention to anything she's saying at all I continue to stare at her, zoned out.
"Y/n?" I shake my head and bring myself back into reality.
"Sorry. Zoned out for a bit." I say.
"Y/n, you know me well enough by now to know that all you have to do is ask if you want to stare at my sexy self." She winks and fails to make a sexy pose. I chuckle before turning to look to and see that next to Hannah sits a small white envelope.
"Thank you so much Doc." I smile and grab the money.
"No problem. I know you're only in training, but you do good things with money I give you. Now shoo!" She tells me while flicking her wrist at me.
"I'll see you tomorrow!" I wave to them as I walk back to the door.
"Of course you will flower."
I leave the office and make my way back home. Mark should also be getting out of work around this time. I look down at the envelope in my left hand and shove it into my pocket.

Last thing I need is to get robbed.

As I'm making my way down the tunnel I decide to stop by the market to pick up a few things.
The first thing that catches my eye is a shirt with a green eye on it.
"Maybe Jack'll like that that." While taking hold of it I also see a black shirt with a pink mustache on it.
"That just screams Mark." I chuckle and grab that too.
"Ten grandles." The man says.
I had him that amount and start back on my way home again.
The whole way there I'm humming to myself as people pass by. Most of the people in the first quarter I could card less about cause they're snobs, but at least they don't give me dirty looks anymore. The house comes into view. So does Jack standing on a stool next to Mark.
"What the?" I silently whisper.
"I'm taller!" I hear Jack say as I get closer.
"That's because you're standing in a stool! You're cheating!" Mark says.
"Fine!" Jack steps off the stool and moves directly next to the black haired man.
"See! I'm still taller!" Mark crosses his arms and pouts as Jack stands in triumph of being taller than Mark.
"Ladies!" I call out, getting their attention.
"You're both beautiful!" I giggle.
Both men turn to look at each other.
"I'm more beautiful!" They both say at the same time.
I facepalm.
"Get in the house." I tell them.
I open the door and walk in, the boys following close behind.

"Here." I throw the bag with the two shirts in it at Mark, hitting him directly in the face.
"Thanks." He sarcastically says.
"Open the bag you idiot." I roll my eyes.
He pulls out the two shirts and looks at them with a confused expression.
"The one with the eye is Jack's, and the one with the pink mustache is obviously yours." I tell him.
He smiles, throwing the other shirt at Jack. He then immediately takes off his own shirt.
"Not my innocent eyes!" I yell while covering them.
Jack chuckles.
"Oh ha ha." I uncover my eyes to see them both wearing the shirts I just bought them.
"Beautiful!" I say in an Italian accent.

Knock
Knock
Knock

I jump at the sound.

Who could that be?

"I'll get it!" I say while dashing to the door.
"Hello?" I ask while opening the door.
My eyes go wide as I'm faces with three protectors.
"Something wrong Protectors?" I ask, both confused and worried.
"Are you Y/n L/n?" The one directly in front of me asks.
"Um, yeah?"
"You need to come with us." One of them tells me.
"Why?" I ask, even more confused.
"Because-"
"Is there a problem?" Mark asks as he comes up from behind me.
"Miss. L/n needs to come with us." The guy in front of me repeats.
"Why?" Jack asks, crossing his arms.
"We are not authorized to share that information with you Sir." The boys roll their eyes.
"Whatever. I'll just get this over with." I tell them and step outside.
"So where are we going?" I question while following them.
No reply.
"Hello?"
No reply.
We start to leave the first quarter.
"Um- I'm sorry, but any business you have with me can be done in the first quarter." I stop in place.
The men stop and look at one another.
"We were instructed by the Leader to bring you back to your mother's home. You are only then allowed to move out when she sees fit." My eyes go wide.
"Sorry, but I'm a grown women and I make my own decisions." I turn around and start to walk home when someone grabs my arm.
"Let go!" I growl and try to pull my arm out of their tight grip.
"My apologies Miss." One of them says before pain shoots through my head and my vision goes black.

"Y/n." A voice says my name through the darkness.
"Yes?" I ask.
I feel like I've heard that voice before. Not from just anywhere though; like I hear it every day.
"When the option opens up, choose beauty over love." I furrow my eyebrows.
"What do you mean?"
"You'll find out soon." The darkness then starts to fade back into light once again.
