Dark's POV

I get up from my bed and run my chest where the mysterious bruise like thing was.
Holding my hand out in front of me, my old magic book floats into it. I then begin to flip through the old fragile pages, hoping to find something.
I get to one page that looks to be in a different language.
Well, the whole book is in a different language. This page though is in a language I've never seen before and don't know.
I feel like this page holds the answer though.
My hologramet then starts to go off.
"Hmm?" I grab it off my bed and see that it's about six in the morning.
"Better get going to that job."
Using my awesome teleporting skills, I teleport into he bathroom.
In the mirror I look so tired.
The small bags that have always been under my eyes seem to have doubled in size overnight.
A sigh escapes through my lips and I get dressed and head downstairs.
I quickly write a note for Anti, telling him that I've gone on a job before leaving the house.
"I'll just walk today. Why not?"

The streets are strangely super crowded for a Wednesday at six thirty in the morning.
"Where did she go?!" I hear a man across the street yell.
I turn my head to see two guys in human capturing uniforms.
One looks angry at the other.
"Split up! You take right, I'll take left!" They both then split up and run in opposite directions.
"Loose human? That almost never happens." Shrugging my shoulders, I continue to walk to the kids house.
That's when a strange feeling takes over my whole body.

You're light.

A voice whispers to me.
Turning in every direction, I see no one is even looking at me.
Out the corner of my eye I see someone running on the other side of the street.
I look over and see a girl scurrying around, dodging other demons. With a closer look I see she's a human.

The human capturers.

My body feels weird again and I involuntarily jog across the street.
"Hey human!" I shout.
She stops dead in her tracks.
"Human!" I try to get her attention.
She turns and has an expression, that screams terrified, on her face.
"Hey, don't be scared." I say in a soothing tone to calm her down.
"Where's your Master?" I ask, looking around to see if there are any missing human posters.
She looks super confused.
"Are you okay?" I begin to feel
uncomfortable.
"You're not wearing a collar. Did you lose yours?"
When she doesn't answer I ask,
"What's your name?"
She opens her mouth to answer and says-
"Human!"

From behind the human I see the two human catchers from earlier running full speed at us.
"Get her before she runs away! Well take her to the place for all the trouble she's caused us and put her down." One of then shouts.
People teleport away and others jump to get out of the way of the two men.
"N-no need to!" I quickly say.

What are you doing Dark?!

I reach up and lightly grab her arm.
"She's my human. Got off her leash when we were going for a walk. She loves to run." I lie.
The one man looks me up and down.
"Okay. If something like this ever happens again then she's gonna be put down." I nod.
"Sorry for the trouble." I 'apologize'.
They start to walk away when the other man turns around.
"And Sir." He says.
"Yes?" I ask.
"Get a better leash and collar next time."

I force a smirk.
"Will do."
He then turns back around and begins to walk away again.
When they're out of sight I grab the human's arm and black smoke starts to engulf us.

The girl violently coughs as we teleport to mine and Anti's house.

The smoke starts to clear away and Anti stands there, staring at me with widen eyes. At least I thought he was staring me. Following his gaze, I see he's staring next to me.
I turn my head to my left and see the human is only being held up by my hand being around her wrist.
"What. The. Hell." Anti says.
"Oh, uh." I let go of her and she falls to the floor.
"DARK!!" Anti yells, running over and picking her up.
"S-sorry!" I stammer and help him bring her over to the couch.
After we set her down he turns to me with the most serious expression I've ever seen on his face.
"Explain." He says, gesturing to the girl that's passed out on our couch.
"I was walking to a job when I saw her running from human catchers. I felt like I had to help. So I lied and said she was my Human." His eyes are wide.
"You can't stand humans Dark!"
I shake my head.
"I just feel uncomfortable about then being pets!" I tell him.
"Well now you have one! What are we gonna do?"
I look down at her sleeping figure and smile.
Looking back up at Anti, he has a huge smirk spread across his features.
"What?" I ask.
"I haven't seen you really smile in years." He says.
My face feels a bit hot.
"And now your blushing? Maybe all you needed in your life was a human."
I look back down at her.
Her h/l h/c hair is in her face.
I then notice that she has tattered cloths. It looks like she got attacked my an animal.

*KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK*

Both Anti and turn toward the door. We're silent for a moment before Anti calls out,
"Who is it?"
"It's PewDIE and Sam!" PewDIE's voice shouts through the thick door.
Anti steps in front of me.
He looks like he's going to rip off someone's head.
"Go put her in the guest room."
He tells me through gritted teeth.
I nod and pick her up before teleporting upstairs.

He's going to rip Sam to pieces.
