Q: Why'd you choose Peeta? 

Gale: Yeah, why did you choose Peeta?

Katniss: I cannot forgive you. We separated and you just left me alone when Peeta just came back for me. I know this is confusing but GOSH! I hate love triangles. It's really complicated and very personal! And Peeta saved my life multiple times.

Gale: Me too!

Peeta: So...

Katniss: I know, we've known each other for a very long time, but this is...Peeta and I grow back together. There are still moments when he clutches the back of a chair and hangs on until the flashbacks are over. I wake screaming from nightmares of mutts and lost children. But his arms are there to comfort me. And eventually his lips. On the night I feel that again, the hunger that overtook me on the beach, I know this would have happened anyway. That what I need to survive is not Gale's fire, kindled with rage and hatred. I have plenty of fire myself. What I need is the dandelion in the spring. The bright yellow that means rebirth instead of destruction. The promise that life can go on, no matter how bad our losses. That it can be good again. And only Peeta can give me that. (A/N: This is actually from the book) 

Gale: I'm glad you have Peeta, when I left to 2. *Leaves* 

Katniss: *Sighs*

His name sounds like Pita. 

Peeta: What?

And you've known him longer! 

Katniss: Who Gale or Peeta? 

Peeta: Im guessing she's referring to Gale. Oh, look! Our dog is here. *Carries box to Katniss*

And what are you doing with Rue Mutt? 

Katniss: What? *Opens crate, showing a dog that looks like Rue's Mutt* *Faints*

Peeta: AWW! SO CUTE! OW! NONONONO! BAD DOG! OW! NO!!!
