"Sit the fuck back down!"

"I don't want to talk to you! Im so mad I can't see straight."

"Aaron," I walk over to him and grab his shoulders, "you knew this day would come. Sooner or later you have to let me go."

"But why this soon? Lexi, I love you."

"Aaron-" he seals his lips onto mine.

"Dude! What the hell!? Get off of her!" Hayes pulls Aaron off of me.

"Why can't you just let me have her!?"

"Aaron, that's enough!"

"No! It's not! I love her!" he goes for hayes. I push him out of the way. I grab Aaron. He stops before he can hurt me. I'm pinned against the wall. "Why don't you understand?"

I take his face in my hands and press our foreheads together. I look him in the eyes. "Aaron, it's not like I'm going to disappear. You're still my best friend."

"He's replacing me."

"Nobody could replace you, sweetie. Not now, not ever."

He hugs me. "I'm sorry." He looks at Hayes. "Dude, I'm so sorry."

"Don't worry about it. I'd be the same way." He sticks his hand out for Aaron. He pulls him in for a hug. "Bros?"

"Bros."

4 hours later-

Hayes and i hug Aaron goodbye. He and Hayes are totally fine now. He set some rules. What a goof. Liz let Hayes and I slide tonight. Hayes and I are laying in his bed watching Netflix. I'm laying on his chest and holding his hand. He rubs my back. "I love my mother."

I giggle. "I love her too. LIZ!"

"WHAT?!"

"I LOVE YOU!"

"AWE. I LOVE YOU TOO, SWEETIE! WHAT ARE TOU GUYS DOING?!"

"MOM! WE'RE WATCHING A MOVIE! SHUT UP!"

"BOY, I WILL SMACK YOU!"

"CHILDREN!" Nash yells from his room. "IT'S 3

IN THE GOD DAMN MORNING! GO TO SLEEP!"

"HAMILTON NASH GRIER!" Liz yells coming up the stairs. I get off of Hayes and go into the hallway. I follow Liz to Nash's room. "Do I need to spank you?"

"Mom, I'm 16 years old."

"So? You're my child." They laugh. "Oh, I love you kiddo."

"Love you too, mom." he hugs her. Hayes hugs me from behind. "I'm still mad at you, Lexi."

"What the hell for?" I laugh.

"For dating my brother." He lets go of his mother.

"I'm sorry."

"It's cool. I forgive you. I guess I wasn't good enough for you."

"You're an asshole, Nash."

"I'm kidding. Love you."

"Uh hu." I say with a smile. I walk over to his bed and hug him. He pulls me off of the floor and onto him. He holds me there. I look at Hayes and he crosses his arms.

"Nash."

"Let me have my turn."

I laugh and squeeze Nash. "Times up."

"Awe, Lexi." he whines. "Why can't we ever be Lash?"

"Lash?" Hayes asks.

I look at him. "Mahogany was being stupid and have Nash and I a ship name."

"Are you saying our ship name is stupid?"

"No no no, it's cute. Hayes and I need one." Nash giggles. "What?"

"Layes. That's you guys's ship name. Layes!" He cracks up. I see a smiles break onto Hayes' face.

"I thinks that's cute." Liz says. Nash loosens his grip just enough for me to beak free. I hug Hayes.

"Are you two together yet?" Liz asks.

"We've been together for four days, mom."

"Really? Why the hell didn't you tell me?"

He shrugs his shoulders with his arms still around me. "I figured you would've caught on eventually."

"I don't care. I have brownies in the oven. Nash, you're grounded."

"What the hell for?"

"For the sass." She leaves the room. "Hayes, you're free."

"Ooooo! Nash got in trouble!" I taunt him.

"Shut up, Lexi."

"Aye, dont talk to her like that." Hayes says.

"Fuck it. Come on." I take his hand and lead him back to his room.

"Oooohhhh, I know what you wanna do."

"Bitch." I say and hug him.

"I was kidding."

"Sure you were." I burry my face into his chest. I take in his scent. A strong but attractive cologne.

"What are you thinking?"

"That whatever cologne you have on is H-O-T!"

He laughs his angelic laugh. "Really now?"

"Yes." I say and kiss his cheek. He looks down at me since he's a few inches taller than me. I smile up at him.

"Why are you smiling at me?"

"Because I'm happy. I haven't been this happy in a long time."

He kisses my forehead. "I'm glad you're happy." he nuzzles his head ontop of mine. "I'm glad you're mine."

"Me too."
