"So, Alexis, how long have you and Shawn been together for?"

"A year and three months."

"How long have you known eachother?"

"Since I was 15."

"Do you know the real reason why he brought you here?"

"No. He wouldn't tell me."

She hands me a microphone. "Take off your jacket, sweetie."
I take off my jacket and stand up. A few girls gasp. "Are the rumors true?"

"Yes."

"Do you have a name?"

"Jake Aaron Mendes. After my three best friends."

"You and Shawn are going to sing together."

He comes over to me and wraps his arm around so his hand is on my hip. He kisses me on the cheek and looks at the interviewer. If you didn't know, it's Ellen.

"When your legs don't work like they used to before.

The song ends and everyone claps. We go back to our seats and Ellen talks. "Wow. You two are the perfect couple, you sing great together, you have a baby on the way and you're engaged."

Shawn grabs my left hand and holds it. "Thank you, Ellen." he says.

"Everyone Mr. and Mrs. Shawn Mendes." everyone claps for us and we go back stage. "Wait!" She yells from behind us. "Do you sing professionally, Alexis?"

"No, ma'am."

" You should." She looks at Shawn. "Talk to your producer."
