"What does it say?" Michael said from outside the bathroom door.

"You know you can come in, right?" I asked as I took a seat on the closed toilet lid, bobbing my leg up and down.

"I'm sorry." He said as he opened the door and came in. "I've never had to do anything like this before with anyone. I thought you'd like your privacy."

I smiled up at him from my spot, slightly amused. "Michael, you've seen me naked. I don't think it really matters if you're here when I pee on a stick."

"It sort of matters." He pointed out, to which I nodded in agreement.

In just three short minutes I would know if another addition to our lives would be with us once again - only this time Michael would be there from start to end.

I had missed my period for three days now, which was quite unusual for me. I usually started on the same date each month on the dot, which was why as soon as I realized I should had gotten it I immediataly told Michael and he had someone pick up a test.

I folded my hands together and bowed my head - my pony tail falling over my shoulders as I said a silent prayer. Of course I wanted another child, and so did Michael - that was why we were so giddy to find out the results. It had already been three months since Kate and Dan told us the great news. Though, we had waited about a month until we really started trying for our own again.

"2 minutes." Michael said, watching the clock carefully.

I let out a breath slowly, trying to calm myself down.

I looked up at my husband, as a wide grin appeared on my face as I watched him.

"What?" The same one appeared on his, as he looked down at me. His arms were crossed over his chest as he leaned against the side of the counter.

He was anxious as well, which was a different shade to see on Michael. I could tell just by looking at him that he had a million thoughts running through his head. I vaguely wondered if this is what it would had felt like all those years ago when I had found out I were pregnant with Liam - but of course I knew. Michael would've been excited back then too. A little more sacred, but excited none the less.

"Nothing." I smiled. "So..."

"So what?" He blinked thoughtfully.

"A boy or girl?" I teased him, even though I knew what he was going to say anyways.

"I think I can settle with healthy." He said matter-a-factly, another grin spreading across his face.

"So you wouldn't be disappointed if another boy popped out?" I raised an inquisitive eyebrow.

"Goodness, no." He shook his head. "I'd be delighted if we had another son, but also ecstatic if it were a baby girl. I just know that there's no way in hell that I'd be disappointed in anything. Whatever it is, our child will be perfect."

"Yeah, I mean look at who it's Father would be." I teased.

He rolled his eyes, smiling. "What about you?"

"What about me?"

"Any preference?" He looked over at me.

"Honestly?" I paused a beat. "Would it make me a completely horrendous person to say that I really want a girl this time...?" I bit my lip. "Don't get me wrong, if we have more sons I'd be more than happy, but... I want the cute little dresses and bows some day." I shrugged.

"No, that doesn't make you a bad person. I know exactly what you mean." Michael said sweetly, although there was a twinge to his voice.

"What?" I questioned.
