Kicks + Over Filled Carts

I was laying on the couch with Shawn as I was scrolling through my phone looking at cribs and baby essentials. Shawn was eating his cereal and then we decided to go out shopping. I was already a dressed which was a first because I couldn't even get dressed with out starting two fights with Shawn.

Suddenly I felt a movement coming from my bump, which startled me. I jumped and sat up before looking down at my bump watch it move. It was a kick.

They baby just kicked!

"Shawn! The baby just kicked!" I screamed and he jumped before quickly turning his head towards me. I placed my hand on the area where I could feel the movement, it was such a beautiful feeling.

It was such a blessing to feel and know your child growing inside of you and giving the signs of its life.

"What! Oh my God, really?" He exclaims and I nod grabbing his hand placing it where I felt the first few kicks. The kicking stopped and we patiently waiting for another kick.

"Oh come on" he groaned moving his hand around trying to feel a bump.

"Oh come on baby, please kick for daddy" I say and then suddenly I felt another kick and Shawn felt it too.

Tears where starting to form in my eyes as he continued to kick and Shawn's eyes were full of joy as he watched the movements in my stomach.

"Oh my God, I can't believe he's kicking" I cried in joy wiping my eyes and I looked at Shawn, his eyes were watery too but he just chuckled and placed a kiss on my lips and he used his few hand to wipe my eyes.

We sat in silence just feeling the multiple kicks it was so amazing. He was kicking so rough and hard which  was hurting slightly but I loved watching the small movements. "He's really going for it" Shawn laughs staring at my vigorously moving bump.

"I swear he's going to be a soccer player with these kicks" I say with a smile and Shawn nods.

"My phone! I need to film it and send it to my mom! And Karen" I yelled and Shawn grabbed my phone before recording the movements of my stomach.  He placed my phone back and then placed his hand back on my bump.

"This is the stuff I missed with Skylar but that's only because Hana shut me out. But I'm glad I get to experience it with you and be able to see all of our baby's firsts" he says and I give him a small smile before I take his hand and place a kiss on it.

"It's okay Shawn, but you still will get to experience new things with Skylar as she grows up a long with this little baby" I say and he nods before placing a kiss on my lips.

"We need to going shopping now please!" I whined and he obeyed immediately as he stood up to get my shoes and his.

Once my shoes were on and I grabbed my purse all ready to go out for our first shopping trip for our little baby.

Shawn and I walked side by side with our fingers intertwined with each other's, as we walked through the huge department store which had a huge section for baby stuff. My eyes were eagerly roaming around the store at all the baby things from strollers to cribs. This was going to be so much fun.

"I'm so excited baby, it's going to be so fun" he says placing a kiss on the top of my head.

"Oh my God, I love that" I squealed letting go of Shawn's hand and pacing over to the area of loads of cribs. This crib was a traditional white one, it was the perfect size and I pressed my hand onto the soft mattress. Shawn came right behind me as he let out a tired breath.

"This looks nice" he says as he watches my inspect it and reads the label with me.

"Hi I'm Marie, is there anything I could help you with?" We hear the shopping assistant say holding a pen and clipboard.
