Bonus Chapters: Friends

Both Adrian and Noah were at school while I was at home with Shawn and Sofia. She was my only baby not at school yet but she would be starting soon.

I cried when Noah went to school on his first day, I cried so much because he was my second baby I was letting go off to school. However it's been a few months and I've powered through into a routine now with Adrian and Noah both going to school.

Shawn and I were both sat on the couch cuddled together while Sofia was walking around the house making noise and doing whatever she wanted. "I missed you" Shawn says and he kissed my cheek and I smiled.

"I missed you too" I say as squeezed his cheeks and placed a kiss on his lips.

Shawn went on a business trip for two days and came back this morning after Noah and Adrian went to school, they definitely would be happy when they got to see Shawn.

"Mommy I want cookies" I could hear Sofia's little voice echoing through as she walked in.

"Sofia Faith Mendes, what do you think you're doing?" Shawn asks the three-year old as she stood there with pink lipstick all over he face, my necklace around her neck and her tiny feet in a pair of my heels.

"I'm Mommy" she says flipping her short hair making me laugh.

"Take that off you are too little for big girl things" Shawn says to her.

"No I'm Mommy" she says crossing her little arms.

She was such a diva.

"You missy are getting such an attitude" Shawn says shaking his head.

"Do you want cookies?" Shawn asked and she nods.

"Then take that all off now and clean up your face" he says.

"No" she says testing Shawn.

"Excuse me?" Shawn says.

"No no no no no no no" she repeats again and again, I tried my best holding in my laugh.

I shook my head as I stood up and went to the kitchen, leaving father and daughter to argue. I could hear the both of them arguing with each other, her little voice yelling at Shawn.

Suddenly there was screaming and then crying before it went quiet. A few minutes later Shawn came in holding a tear-eyed Sofia, he wiped her face clean and took the heels off her feet but let her keep the necklace on.

She was always a daddy's girl and was always stuck to him, but if they had their little fall outs she would come to me.

This was now my time.

"Aw my poor baby, daddy always picks on you" I say as she stretched her arms out for me and I held her as I got a plate of cookies out for her. I placed her on the counter and kissed her cheek as she picked up a cookie as started eating it happily.

Shawn shook his head as he came around and placed his arms one each side of the counter trapping me as he placed a kiss on cheek and then hugged me tightly.

Before I knew it, Sofia ate her cookies and now was back with Shawn. She stayed in his lap with her arms around his neck as they both watched a Disney film.

They were both adorable and melted my heart.

Shawn went to collect Adrian and Noah up from school while I put Sofia down for a nap because it's was her nap time. By the time she fell asleep I could hear the door making me rush down to see my other babies.

Shawn walked in holding a crying Noah who was stuck to him and Adrian. "What happened!" I exclaimed as I saw Noah's little face.

"He won't tell me" Shawn says as he carried Noah into the kitchen.

"Hi mommy" Adrian smiles at me.

"Hi my baby" I say as I kissed the top of his head.

"What's wring with Noah?" He asks.

"I'll go check on him but I'm the meantime can you go upstairs and put all you things away like a good boy?" I asked and he nodded immediately listening to my instructions.

I walked into the kitchen to see Shawn still holding  Noah who was sat on the counter hugging Shawn tightly. I rushed immediately in worry, "Noah do you want to tell mommy?" Shawn asks him and he lets go of Shawn stretching his arms out for me.

I hugged him as he cried into my chest. "Are you okay Noah?" I asked him as my fingers brushed through his hair.

"I have no friends" he sobbed with his little voice cracking and my heart ached as I looked down at my crying child. Shawn and I just looked at each other before Shawn came over wrapping his arms around the both of us.

"Noah baby it's okay, you will make friends" I say lifting his face up as I took his glasses off and wiped his eyes. He shook his head as tears spilled dosing his cheeks.

This was my worst fear for Noah, he was different to Adrian who was obsessed with attention. Noah was different but precious and now I was hurt because he had no friends at school, it's an awful feeling being left out.

"Noah you're a strong boy, you're my little spider-man" Shawn says as he patted Noah's head.

"No one likes me" he says as he choked in his little sobs.

"Of course they like you, what's not to love about you. You're so smart and such a nice boy, I promise you will make friends baby" I say as I hugged him again.

"But me, Mommy, Adrian and Sofia are your friends" Shawn says as I wiped his little tears.

"Mommy is your best friend isn't she?" Shawn asks him and Noah nods looking up at me.

"Aw you're my best friend too" I say as I kissed his little cheeks.

"No one is my best friend" Shawn huffs crossing his arms which made Noah laugh at his attempt of a sad face.

"Don't cry Noah, you're a strong and big boy. You will make friends and I promise we all love you" I say as he sniffles.

He hugged me and I held him while he calmed down for a bit.

By the evening Noah was fine and playing with both Adrian and Sofia. Their toys sprawled everywhere and them running around the house screaming and shouting in so much joy.

Shawn came and wrapped his arms around me kissing my neck as we both watched all three kids chase each other around the kitchen. "Well today was something new" Shawn says and I nodded.

"But we did good, I think" I say and he agrees as he hugged tightly.

"I love you" he whispers in my ear and I grinned widely as I looked at him.

"I love you more" I say pressing my lips to his.

Eight years later and my love still hasn't faded away for him, it becomes stronger everyday.

"Daddy!" Sofia screamed at the top of her lungs making everyone cover their ears.

"Yes my princess what's wrong?" He asks as we both looked down at her.

"Adrian keeps making me the monster but I don't want to be a monster" she cried and stomped her foot.

"But It's your turn to be the monster" Adrian says from behind her.

"Daddy! I don't want to" she screams throwing a fit.

"Okay! Okay! Sofia you don't have to be a monster, the boys can play and you can come stay with daddy" Shawn says as he lifted her up and placed her on the counter kissing her cheeks. The boys continued to play in the other room.

I laughed before I started preparing dinner and then I hear Shawn sigh loudly, he shook his head at Sofia.

"You're going to be giving me a real hard time as you grow up" Shawn says tapping her nose making her scrunch up her nose and grin at him...
