Bonus Chapter: Thanksgiving Emergency

"Get your naked butt here now Adrian!" I yelled from his room. I just got him out of the bath and now he was running around the house freely. I couldn't chase him either. I sighed and sat down on the edge of the bed. "He's coming!" Shawn says walking in with Adrian, hold him from under his armpits.

We both managed to change Adrian and now we were off to Shawn's parents house for thanksgiving dinner. I was getting bigger by the day but not as big as I was with Adrian. I just wore some maternity leggings and a huge sweatshirt, I couldn't dress up because I was so exhausted.

"We need to go now Adrian" I say and he holds my hand as we walk out of the room.

Once we made it to Shawn's parents house all I wanted to do was sleep. I was in the third-trimester now which made my body more exhausted and tired.

Adrian immediately ran to Karen and Manny while Shawn made me sit down on the couch. I let out a deep breath sitting down and resting against the pillows.

"Serenity! My dear how are you?" Karen chirps sitting beside me and I winced when the couch moved slightly.

"Just exhausted" I say and she smiles giving me a kiss on the cheek and holding my hand. "It will get better and plus the little one will be here in a month or so" she says and I nod.

"But you take all the rest you need here it's your home too, if you need anything to eat tell me or if you want to sleep then you can go to Shawn's old room" she says kindly and I nod.

"I'll be in the kitchen" she announces before disappearing.

I rested my head in Shawn's shoulder as his hand rubbed my thigh. "Are you okay?" He says and I nod.

"I think I need to stand up and walk a little" I say and he nods helping me up. I decided to go with Shawn to the kitchen to give Karen some company.

"Serenity you should be resting!" Karen scolds and I giggle.

"I told her the same thing but she is stubborn" Shawn says and I nudge him as I leaned against the counter.

There was screaming and yelling coming from the living room where both Adrian and Lea were fighting with Manny but Aaliyah was no where to be seen.

"Where's Aaliyah?" Shawn asks almost reading my mind.

"She's out with her boyfriend" Karen says and Shawn tenses up beside me.

"Boyfriend!" He exclaims and Karen rolls her eyes.

"Relax Shawn" I says as we both laughs at him.

"I swear if he's coming to dinner I-" before Shawn could finish Karen cut him off.

"Shawn you know he is coming and can you stop acting like an over-protective older brother. Leave your sister alone" Karen scolds him.

"Are you crazy mom? She is too young for a boyfriend, sorry I can't except this" he complains as me and Karen we're both just laughing at him.

"Shawn she is twenty with a kid, leave her alone I think she knows what she's doing" Karen says.

"I'm home!" Aaliyah's voice interrupted us as the front door slammed. She walked in with a bright smile on her face and her boyfriend Kai trailing behind her.

Oh boy.

Shawn was already tensed and was ready to punch the poor guy. He hugged Karen and made his way around the counter to say hello to us. "Hello Kai" I smiled as he came over to shake my hand.

"Listen here buddy-" Shawn says moving forward gripping his collar and I roll my eyes pulling his arm back. "I'm so sorry Kai, he has no control over himself" I say and he gulps before following Aaliyah our of the kitchen.

"Shawn!" I scold hitting his arm and shrugs. "You scared the poor guy, why can't you be nice to him" I say and Shawn groans.

"That's good he should be scared of me" he says and I glare at him.

"They've been dating for just over a year, is it really necessary to do that. Just be nice to him" I say and Shawn rolls his eyes.

"What if we have a daughter and she has a boyfriend, or Lea has a boyfriend in the future?" I say and he shakes his head.

"Hell no! My daughter will not have a boyfriend and Lea, I better make sure she doesn't have a boyfriend like Aaliyah either" he says and I laughed shaking my head.

We all sat on the dinner table with so much food covering the table. Adrian and Lea were put into their high chairs eating bits of food but mainly throwing it at each other. I was sat beside Shawn and opposite us was Aaliyah and Kai, unfortunately.

Shawn kept glaring at Kai making him uncomfortable and it was not fair even though Shawn was being the 'stereotypical over-protective brother'. "Knock it off, and I mean it Shawn. Leave the kid alone" I whisper and he rolls his eyes.

Everyone was having a great time chatting away with each other. Manny and Kai had a great chat about business and Kai's own mechanical garage. Adrian and Lea finished eating and now were running around.

I was sitting on the couch after eating dinner with Shawn. I felt terrible not being able to help clean up but Karen wouldn't let me step inti the kitchen. "Are you okay?" Shawn asks as I was taking deep breaths.

"I think so but I'm just getting a lot of pain" I say as the sharp pain was pressed in my lower abdomen. I groan and leaned against Shawn.

A loud thud was heard from the other side of the living room and as we turned our head Adrian started wailing. His cries were getting louder and Shawn immediately went to pick him up and bring him over. He immediately curled to my side and patted his head indicating he hurt his head.

"Did my baby fall over?" I coo and he nods with his eyes full to the brim with tears. I kissed his head and rubbed his head letting him calm down. "You're a strong boy" Shawn says patting his head.

After an hour Adrian fell asleep and Lea both were asleep on the couch. The two little babies curled up together warmed my heart. "Well we should get going now mom it's getting late, thank you" Shawn says standing up. As Shawn helped me up and as I stood up straight I had a sharp pain in my stomach and I let out a groan making everyone look at me.

Shawn held my hand and I took a deep breath, then suddenly I felt warm liquid trickle down my legs. A sharp gasp left my mouth making everyone jump and Shawn placed his hand on my back. "Serenity-" before Shawn could even ask.

"My water just broke" I say in a panicked tone and Shawn gulps.

"What?" He exclaims and I nod. There thankfully wasn't a mess on the floor or anything because it soaked into my leggings.

"Umm- how, wait-" Shawn was in a panic mode and unsure of what to do and I was the same because I wasn't due till January.

"Shawn take her to the hospital! We will look after Adrian" Karen says and he nods.

"The hospital bag! We don't-"

"I'll get that late right now I need to take you to the hospital" Shawn says kissing my forehead...
