Our Happily Ever After-(s.m)

Last-Minute

Adrian has thankfully slept through the night, we were on track with a routine now. Shawn has been working the last few days so he hasn't had much sleep. He has been really stressed and I feel terrible for him working so much.

Shawn and I had our breakfast and he went into his office to do some work and I decided to catch up on some laundry. There so much laundry to do in the last few days, well a lot of Adrian's clothes that needed to be washed.

As soon as the washing load was in the machine Adrian's loud cries echoed through the monitor that was in the living room. I sighed before walking to our room but Shawn was already in there. "Sshhh don't cry" Shawn whispers holding Adrian in his arms.

Shawn passed Adrian to me and his face the same as always when he cried just so cute that you didn't even want to let go of him.

"Oh Adrian why are you crying my baby?" I hush him placing kisses on his cheeks. I rock him in my arms slowly and he immediately stops crying but just looks up at me with his beautiful eyes.

"Oh my pretty baby, hi" I coo placing a kiss on his nose. He was so small and so cute I just didn't want to let him go.

"Smile" Shawn says and I look up at him holding his phone angled at the both of us. I held Adrian up slightly and I smiled as Shawn snapped the picture.

"I'm setting this as my new wallpaper" he says tapping away on his phone.

He puts his phone down before collapsing on the couch with a sigh. "What's wrong Shawn? You've been stressed for the last few days" I say sitting down next to him with Adrian in one arm.

"Just the new marketing stuff that's happening down in Sweden" he says and I frown seeing him so stressed.

I hated seeing Shawn so stressed, it wasn't fair he couldn't spend time focusing as much as he wanted with Adrian. "When is this marketing stuff going to finish then?" I ask and he sighs before taking Adrian from my arms.

"Umm Soon hopefully" he says sounding unsure, he carries on stroking his thumb over Adrian's face.

"I hope it's over soon because I hate seeing you stressed" I say resting my head on his shoulder as my fingers stroke Adrian's little foot.

"Let's just watch something to get your mind off all of this" I say and he nods.

We decided to watch 'Grown Ups' and while Shawn was setting it up I made some popcorn. We laid back on the couch comfortably with Adrian resting on Shawn's chest and one of his arms around me as I curled into his side. I fed him popcorn and myself as his hands were occupied.

Durning the movie Adrian had fallen asleep on Shawn which was the cutest sight to see. "Oh shoot I left my computer on in the office" he says.

"Take him while I go and turn it off" he says and I stop him.

"Let him sleep peacefully on you I will turn it off" I say as I stand up making my way into the office.

I make my way around the desk to the computer to turn it off. But I stop as an email notification comes through making my eyes widen.

Mr Mendes the flights to Sweden have been booked for our new marketing release. Sian has booked your ticket and car will be sent to pick you up. Sian has also asked if you could bring along file 92 and folder 163 which contain the proposals for the marketing.
