Zendaya and Alex's engagement party was in full swing by the time Tom and Kat arrived.

Alex was instantly by Kat's side when she walked in the door, "You're the worst maid of honor."

"What? Why?"

"Why are you so late? You and Tom couldn't seriously wait to bone until after the party?"

Kat looked over at Tom who chuckled as he shook his head, "I didn't- we didn't- we overslept."

"Likely story," Alex rolled her eyes, "Cmon, you two have to help Z and I escape the older relatives. They're already talking about freaking babies! I never agreed to babies, I already made enough of a compromise with the the wedding."

"If it helps, Z doesn't look to comfortable either talking about it," Tom motioned to Zendaya who was already starting to back up.

"I'm so sorry auntie. I have to take pictures with Alex's maid of honor. I- excuse me."

She quickly rushed over to the three, sighing in relief, "Oh thank god you two are finally here. Cmon, photo booth time."

The couples took their pictures, which Kat immediately wanted to post since they looked so cute.

But while Tom helped her take pictures of it, Alex decided to speak up.

"So, how'd the whole movie debacle go? Are we going to kick Tom's ass after this?"

Tom frowned at her, "Is this payback for me making you cry in the club?"

"Something like that."

"Well, you can stop trying to make me angry at him. It isn't Tom's fault that Danielle got the role and I didn't."

Zendaya shot Tom a look, "It isn't?"

Kat noticed the look she was giving him and was quick to look at Tom the same way, "Is it?"

"It isn't," Tom nervously tried to reassure her, rubbing her shoulder comfortingly, "The producers- they just wanted to make a star instead of having one already be in it."

"Ew, I'm walking away now," Alex grimaced, Zendaya chuckling as she followed after her.

Tom pulled Kat into a hug, trying to ignore Zendaya mouthing 'tell her' and instead relax for the first time that day.
