why the fuck are you still up?!

Tom knew when they got home and Kat didn't immediately go to sleep that something was wrong.

He frowned when he entered their room to see her wide awake and on her phone.

"I literally went outside so I could watch TV and you could sleep. Do I have to take your phone away?"

"No!" Kat frowned now, "I'm just not tired."

"What? Kat, it's almost two am. How are you not tired?"

"Cause it's only nine in New York?"

Tom gave her a look, "You already got passed the jet lag and time difference."

"Yeah, well," Kat stopped mid sentence, her hand flying to her stomach as she winced in pain.

Tom immediately grew worried, "What is it? Are you feeling okay?"

"Ye-yeah... I just... I think they're fighting," she winced again when the pain returned, rubbing her stomach although it didn't help whatsoever.

Tom frowned as he went to sit beside her, going face to face with her stomach.

"Matt, Theo. Stop fighting in there. Mum needs to sleep, she had a long day today."

"I think they're just mad I haven't satisfied their craving."

"Don't say it," Tom closed his eyes.

"I want fries and a McFlurry."

"Darling," Tom sighed deeply, "No McDonalds is open this late. The ones here are nothing like the ones back in New York."

"Fine, whatever. It's not like they have the M&M McFlurry anyway. I just need some fries- from anywhere and ice cream with M&M's in them."

"Darling-"

"The more time you waste, the angrier they get," Kat said warningly, making Tom sigh deeply as he got up to place a kiss on her forehead before leaving.

Kat smiled proudly, picking up the remote control and turning on Beverly Hills 90210, finding herself able to relax a bit hearing the familiar theme song come on.

Rubbing her stomach slightly, she sighed, "I really hope you're like Brandon, Mateo... to an extent, of course. You should be your own person. And Theo... just maybe don't be Brenda. I mean, she had her moments but- ow! You two don't wanna sleep tonight, huh?"

She continued to rub her stomach in an attempt to soothe the twins, even though time soon proved that they would not be calming down anytime soon.

Making her way downstairs, she hoped that they would calm down once she fulfilled her cravings and since Tom was taking a long time, she decided to take matters into her own hands.
