It was not just one show.

Following her bit 'comeback' to the stage, Blake got a lot of calls about her performing at other places and award shows.

Kat was excited to say the least when award season came around and her and Tom were getting ready to attend the red carpet for the first time as a married couple- or even together at all (not counting the marvel premiere movies).

"I just think it's crazy we've been together for five years and we never went to an award show together before."

"We've always had different and busy schedules."

"Not anymore," Kat sighed happily, wrapping her arms around his neck.

"You sure about that?" he questioned, wrapping his own arms around her waist, "You've been getting pretty busy on stage, haven't you?"

"Hey- don't judge me!"

"No one's judging you, gorgeous. You know your happiness is the only thing that's important to me. Seeing you on stage... it's the happiest I've seen you in a while."

"Untrue- I'm always happy when I'm with you and the twins."

"Yeah but I can tell you're always a little sad when you hear Z or even Harrison talk about work. Face it babe, as much as you don't want to admit it- you've missed it."

"Fine. I missed it- the rush of being on stage or even long hours of working on a movie- I've missed it so goddamn much but that doesn't change the fact that I would give it all away in a heartbeat for the twins and you."

"Hey! Leave me out of it, you know I wouldn't ask you to do that," Tom teased pecking her lips before going back to changing into his clothes, knowing Law wouldn't be happy if he returned and he still wasn't dressed.

"Yeah, I should probably finish getting ready too," Kat blushed, going to the adjacent room where her dress and team were waiting for her to come back.

Tom thought if anything he had to keep Kat at arms length, knowing how she got whenever Law dressed him for events.

She claimed she loved how he dressed but Law just had this way of choosing just the perfect flattering outfits for him.

So part of him may have been taking advantage of that.

"You're going to wear the glasses to drive her crazy, aren't you?" Law laughed watching him fix his glasses in the mirror.

"No way! I... I need these glasses."

"Sure, Tom," Law laughed, "Well, my work here is done. You're officially red carpet ready- please don't let her ruin my hair."
