"Yes."

"Thomas, I said no."

"Well, I'm saying yes."

"Why do you want them to go to preschool so bad?"

"I want them to go to nursery school because they need to. Why don't you want them to?"

"Because they don't need to. I didn't go- I'm perfectly fine."

"Well, I did and I loved every minute of it."

"So that's it? You're just ready to let go of our kids?"

"Oh don't say it like that!"

"How else am I supposed to say it?"

"You want our kids to meet kids their own age and get somewhat of an education?"

"I can teach our kids plenty on our own."

"Love, you'd never have the time with all your traveling-"

"Excuse me? Thanks to me they are bilingual!"

"And I love you for that but they also need to learn other things-"

"Tom, I love you and value your opinions but I am not sending our kids to school earlier than they need to. I only prepared myself for kindergarten goodbyes- not preschool."

"Can we... can we at least give it a trial run? One day, that's all I'm asking for."

"I don't even think schools do that," Kat frowned but Tom shook his head.

"They do- and I found the perfect one. Their trial day is tomorrow."

"What?!"

"Yeah," Tom couldn't help the massive smile on his face, "I'm gonna go pack their lunches."

"Oh my god."

Kat took a deep breath, picking up Rory and going into the kitchen where the twins were sat sharing an iPad, watching YouTube while Tom prepared their lunches.

"Are you two excited for school?"

"Hoy solo hablamos español, Tom."

(Today we only speak Spanish, Tom)

"Right... um... escuela?"

Instantly the two look towards Kat, "Mami! No!"

"Solo es para un día- para hacer feliz a tu padre."

(It's only for one day- to make your father happy)

They pouted but returned to their iPad while Tom looked at her confused, "What'd you say?"
