It really didn't bother Kat when Tom and Danielle made plans to go to the opera- she knew she couldn't stop them from hanging out.

But then Nate had the brilliant idea to watch Me Before You and she could not sleep very well at all.

At first she just brushed the idea off but when his texts became less frequent and their facetime calls were rushed because he had plans with Danielle after, she couldn't help but let the thought haunt her.

"They fucking fell in love after that, Nathaniel," Kat complained, making Nate chuckle as he shook his head.

"Only people in movies fall in love after a damn opera. That shit doesn't happen in real life."

"Don't you love operas?"

"And? I've never fallen in love with a girl after one."

"Yet."

Kat only rolled her eyes but smiled as she took her phone out.

"You have to stop checking your phone."

"You have to stop telling me what to do."

Zendaya smiled seeing them wrestle for the phone.

"You two are like brother and sister already."

"Well, when we first met Nate did tell me I wasn't his type," Kat laughed after managing to grab a hold of her phone.

"I only said it because I know you have a boyfriend and I didn't want him up my arse about fancying you."

"So what I'm getting from this is I am your type?"

"You want me to get beat up by your boyfriend, don't you?"

"Kinda. I'd love to see Spider-man kick Chase Stein- especially after leaving Gert like that in season two."

"He had to be there for his father!"

"He had to be there for Gert!"

When the two started arguing, Zendaya shook her head but she, of course, found the entire situation amusing.

It wasn't until they actually got on the red carpet that she actually started to get worried about the situation.

To her, she already knew how close they were but to everyone else seeing them whisper to each other, laugh and especially seeing Nate's hand never leaving her lower back, it was a little troubling.

Kat really didn't mean for it to look like anything more than friendship and she didn't see Nate in any other way than a friend so she didn't pay much mind to it, finding herself oblivious to the looks they were getting.
