"Was that post really necessary, love?"

"What do you mean? When you look like that, it is an automatic thirst post."

"That's not true," Tom smirked, going to climb over her on bed, "I've looked like this before yet today..."

"Well before we weren't apart for a week. Now we were so excuse me if I'm a little extra thirsty for my boy."

"Man," Tom corrected with a smirk, leaning down to connect their lips.

When he pulled away, Kat was now the one to smirk up at him, "Man, it is."

He chuckled, going to lean in again when his phone went off.

Sighing, he leaned his forehead against hers frustratedly, "We really need a week for ourselves and just shut off all phones and devices, change the locks of our house..."

"Stop," Kat giggled, giving his butt a playful slap, "Now answer your damn phone."

"Yes ma'am."

Tom got off of her while she went into the bathroom for a quick shower.

By the time she got out, Tom was no longer in the room but rather in the kitchen, cooking away.

"What is this?" she asked with a smile, coming up behind him.

"This is me cooking for you."

"Uh huh, and what's the special occasion?"

"What? I cook for you from time to time!"

"Well, yeah, but you don't make a habit of it."

"Wow. Consider me making this a habit of it now. My new years resolution- cook more for my girls."

Tom pecked her lips quickly before returning his full attention to his food while Kat sat and watched him.

"You know, some would say you acting so nice was a bit suspicious."

"Well, I would argue that some are just being paranoid."

"Except for the fact that you only wake me up the way you did today when two things are happening: one, it's our anniversary and two, you did something wrong. And it's not the first option so..."

Tom hesitated before turning to her, "Why does it have to be one or the other? Can't it just be that I love you so much and I want to show you a good day?"

"Is this about you not going to Ibiza with me?" Kat ignored his question, asking her own.

Tom sighed but nodded, "Even though you just ignored everything I just said, yes that's-"
