"Please!"

"No!"

"Oh cmon!"

"Robert..."

"I'll love you 3,000 if you let me do this..."

Tom looked over at Kat who immediately let her stern stance go. He shook his head.

"No. Don't you dare."

"Bu-but-"

"Babe," he mumbled, "We are not leaving the twins overnight."

"But think about it! You two can have date night," Susan now tried, desperately not wanting to let the twins go.

"We can have a date night and still come pick them up before we go home."

"But they'll be asleep-"

"We don't care."

"Cmon kid," Robert now pleaded Kat, making sure to give her his best 'puppy dog eyes' knowing she was his best bet of getting the twins for the night, "I'll love you 3,777."

"God dam-"

"Are you sure they'll be safe?"

"We'll never let them out of our sight."

"Why do you even want them overnight anyway?"
Tom frowned, knowing he had lost this fight the second Robert got Kat on his side.

"We just- we miss having babies around so much and since we know for a fact this will never happen for us again and soon you guys will be back in the UK..."

"You just want to borrow the twins for the night?" Kat finished for them.

"Exactly! Cmon you two! Don't be so cruel, let us have this."

"This is our kids."

"And I'm one of their godparents, surely you can trust me to keep them for one night if you trust me enough to name me guardian if you two die."

"He has a point," Kat whispered, although she definitely didn't want to admit it.

"I just got them back," Tom whined, throwing his head back before straightening up again moments later, "Fine. One night. No more."

"Yes! Thank you so much!"

The Downeys were smiling messes as they thanked the two, letting them say goodbye to the twins before taking them back and closing the door behind them, leaving Tom and Kat standing there alone.

"I can't believe I just did that," Kat whispered.

"You know, I think if it ever came down to it, if Robert ever asked you to leave me, you'd do it in a heartbeat- and all he has to say is I love you 3,000."

When Kat remained silent, Tom gasped, quick to grab a hold of her, tickling her sides making her laugh as they basically stumbled down the driveway.
