THIRTEEN

Ibiza was everything Kat imagined it to be and more.

She just missed Tom and wanted nothing more than to have him be here with her- with them.

Zendaya and Alex were walking ahead of her and Laura, hand in hand when Laura finally had enough of Kat's pouting.

"I know you miss Tom but-"

"I know, I'm being a big baby," Kat sighed, "But I can't help it. I- I thought the weirdness would end when he finally told me the truth about Danielle but he's still acting the same way."

"Maybe he's going to propose next?" Laura offered with a small smirk.

"Okay, from here on out, I'd like to ban the word proposal when talking about Tom and I. I really don't want to get my hopes up and..."

"And what?"

Kat hesitated but finally admitted, "I don't think he even wants to do it anymore."

"What makes you think that?" Laura frowned.

"Call it a gut feeling."

"Or just stupidity."

Kat only glared at her when Zendaya and Alex finally stopped to turn to face them.

"Okay so we're going to do dinner tonight to celebrate being here then the rest of the week is completely planned for us- sightseeing and stuff."

Kat already knew what Zendaya meant by this.

She really did plan activities for the four to do but Kat declined going to any of those places with them, reassuring Zendaya that they would be fine without them- not wanting to impose on their post-engagement celebration.

She regretted it the second they walked into the room though.

"Really? Just because one couple is getting engaged doesn't mean both rooms have to be decorated with fucking roses."

"I'm not sure if I like grumpy Kat."

"I am not grumpy!"

"You are so grumpy," Laura laughed now, "Remind me to yell at Tom for not coming to this trip and making you Ms. Grumpy Pants."

"Or I could just kill you right here," Kat offered with a smirk.

"But then who will help you get away from Z and Alex on the trip?"

"You mean escape their lovey-dovey crap? Is that how Tom and I are?"

"Constantly," Laura laughed, "I can't imagine how you two will be like when you're engaged."

"I thought I said not to talk about that."

"You said not to mention proposals- engaged is a completely different term."
