"I don't want to go back," Kat whined when she pulled away from her kiss with Tom, leaning her head on his chest while he smiled down at her, running his fingers through her hair.

"I don't want you to go back either."

"Let's runaway together."

"To Las Vegas?" Tom asked with hopeful eyes.

Kat gave him a look though, "No means no, Thomas."

"Sorry," he mumbled, "I just want to be able to call you my wife so bad."

"Babe, stop being so fucking cute," she whined, pulling him into another kiss, only to pull away moments later, "You think my family will fly out here for the wedding?"

"What? You want to have the wedding here?"

"I mean... if I'm going to be working here, I won't have the time to go back home, plan a wedding and get married... although, we are going to be missing my mom's birthday. God, she's going to kill me for missing it and not telling her about the engagement in person."

"Would your director really not give you time off for our wedding? Just a month?"

"Liz is generous but I'm not sure she'd be that willing- wait would your director give you time off?"

"I um... I may have already finished filming."

"No way!" Kat gasped, "Why didn't you tell me?"

"I wanted our anniversary to be a surprise, love."

"Right... but anyways, I should be able to weasel a week off of work-"

"Congratulations!"

Kat yelped in surprise, turning around but making sure the sheet covered her seeing Nate standing there with flowers in hand.

"Nathaniel! What the fuck?!"

"Felicity texted me the good news."

"Of course she did."

"These are for you, Tom. Congrats on finally getting the balls to do what we've all been waiting for you to do."

"Thanks?"

"Nate, get out."

"Ouch!"

"Actually," Tom began to reach around for his clothes, "It's totally fine. You two catch up. I've... got to make a few calls."

Kat frowned but still watched him leave nonetheless while Nate got into bed with her, "So-"

"Keep your distance mate if you want to make it out of here alive!"
