The big day finally arrived.

On the morning of December 31st, Tom was rushed out from his bed with Kat, much to her dismay.

"What are you doing?" she frowned at the girls who closed the door behind the boys.

"It's the day of the wedding. You two aren't supposed to see each other."

"We're not getting married until midnight-"

"We have a lot of crap to do, Katalina. We are not letting Tom be a distraction."

She didn't even get to protest when she was dragged out of bed and basically dragged through the entire day in preparation for the night's festivities.

"Actually being here is so crazy," Kat smiled as she stared at the vanity mirror, trying to make sure everything was perfect, "I mean, this place is even more amazing than I remembered."

"Yeah, kudos to Karmen for getting it- and making sure fake names were used in the booking."

Kat nodded, "Despite all the guests though... this is a super low key ceremony, right?"

"We got Karmen on guest mode, ready to tell everyone to keep their phones to themselves."

"Well, don't scare them either."

"Right. Wouldn't want your guests to be long gone before you get to even tell everyone you're pregnant, huh?"

Kat's smile instantly fell, remembering for the first time about the babies in her stomach. All the nerves about that suddenly hit her.

"Should we even be announcing our pregnancy today?" she asked, surprising the girls.

She felt bad about even saying that out loud but she had heard and read about enough horror stories to scare her.

After Tom had fallen asleep the same night they found out about the twins, Kat googled about all the statistics on not only twins but pregnancy in general.

But of course all the scary stories stuck with her.

"Why wouldn't you be? This is the perfect time with all your loved ones together."

"Yeah but... there's still a possibility of a miscarriage. Technically I shouldn't have told anyone until after six weeks and even then I'm not fully safe-"

"Katalina, I know it's your wedding day and everyone's supposed to kiss the bride's ass but please, shut the fuck up."

"I'm just saying-"

"You are going to announce your pregnancy today," Kris interrupted her, grabbing a hold of her shoulders, "Because you and Tom are going to have a baby. There will be no miscarriage or no negativity around this baby and you two will be the happiest you can be, you got it?"
