Tom couldn't stop looking at them.

After his small argument with Kat last night, he found himself watching them as they slept peacefully, completely unaware of their parents' trouble.

Last night had been such a blur to him after Kat shoved his phone to his chest and got washed and dressed in a hurry only to demand to be taken home the second she came out.

He was not one to question her and did exactly as he was told, watching her silently as she made her way past their family who were just about ready to tease them but stopped immediately seeing the upset look on her face.

Neither of them really wanted an explanation and just left them alone, thinking they would just argue all night but what really happened was so much worse for Tom.

Complete silence.

In fact, she pretty much refused to sleep in the same room as him, finding herself in her mom's room while Tom just stood up all night with the twins.

He wasn't even tired when the sun was rising and they first opened their eyes, both ready to cry until they noticed Tom there.

He had the bottles ready, completely prepared to spend the entire day with them while Kat left him in 'the dog house' not knowing that Magdalena was currently trying to get her daughter to forgive him.

"What did you expect, Luna? For him to give up his entire career to be a stay at home husband and father?"

"Of course not."

"So what is the problem, exactly?"

"He didn't tell me."

"I'm sure he was going to eventually."

"He shouldn't have told me eventually, he should have told me immediately."

"Mi amor, if all men were so upfront and truthful about everything, I'm pretty sure it'd be the end of the world."

"Mami," she groaned, "This is not the time to joke around."

"No te quejes. Ya no eres una bebe."

(Don't whine. You're not a baby anymore."

Kat pouted, ready to continue when she noticed her mom tug her blanket around her tighter, closing her eyes momentarily.

"You're right," she admitted instead, "I'm not a baby anymore... which is why... I think you should go home."
