FORTY ONE

"There's literally no physical way," Felicity huffed, "There's no way you managed to get pregnant that fast. You two just had sex literally just yesterday!"

"Um, have you met Tom and Kat? Any chance they get, they take."

"Unfortunately, Katherine's not wrong," Kat sighed, continuing to keep her eyes on the road, "There was when Tom first got to Prague, a couple times after that in Paris... when he proposed... when we got to his parents place..."

"Jesus you two really are horndogs."

"We were separated for months, don't judge us."

"Even before that you two-"

"Wait. Aren't you on birth control?"

"Yeah."

"Aren't those things sometimes not effective?"

"Only by less than 1%. There's no way Kat is that very small statistic."

"I don't know, she has a handful of bad luck..."

"I told you!"

"I refuse to believe the beautiful talented girl with a loving boyfriend and successful career has bad luck," Felicity rolled her eyes, "Besides, if you do have bad luck, why don't you use condoms?"

Katherine chuckled a bit, "Her and Tom never use a condom."

"Gross. Kat!"

"Don't judge me! And how the hell do you know that Katherine?"

"There are no secrets between us, Katalina."

"Whatever. We haven't used condoms for years and we've been perfectly fine without them."

"We'll obviously not anymore," Felicity giggled, earning a glare from Kat.

"Well, my period is always changing! Maybe that's what's happening."

"Maybe... just in case though, I need to talk to the designers. Make sure they know they need to alter the dress."

Knowing she couldn't argue with her, Kat sighed, "Just- make sure no one hears you."

"You're not going to tell the girls?"

"There's still a 99% chance that this is a false alarm. I don't need them all upset when the test turns out negative that I got their hopes up."

"Fine," Katherine sighed dramatically, "You have to keep Alex away from me then. She can always tell when I'm keeping a secret."

"Don't worry," Kat chuckled a bit, "She'll be too busy planning my wedding to realize something's up with you."

"You're seriously gonna let her and Kris plan the whole thing?"

Kat nodded, "They weren't lying when they said I told them exactly how I wanted everything. For now I want to let them handle the basics while I focus on the dress and pray that I'm not pregnant."
