When Kat decided to facetime her niece and sister, she definitely didn't expect her boyfriend to be there, hiding and desperately not wanting anyone to reveal that he was there.

"So, what have to guys been up to?"

"Nothing much," Kris chuckled nervously, trying really hard not to look over at Tom who was pacing the living room.

If Kat found out Tom was there, she would for sure know something was up and the secret would be ruined.

"Jules, what have you been up to bebe?"

"Um," the little girl started, "I was uh- surprised with-"

Tom quickly grabbed a hold of Juliet's waist, pulling her to the side while a startled Kat gasped, "What the fuck was that?!"

Kris and Carter quickly tried to make up an excuse for Tom while he stared down at Juliet.

"No telling tia that I'm here, okay?"

"But... ¿Por qué?"

"Because tio is going to surprise tia and she can't know that I'm here."

"Bu-but that's lying... and mommy says lying bad."

"But this lie isn't because this will make tia really happy- if it's kept a secret."

Seeing the look of hesitance on her face, Tom sighed, "What do you want?"

Instantly, Juliet's eyes lit up, blurting out, "Kitty."

Hearing that, Kris decided she needed to hang up on Kat, "Gotta go, bye."

Before Kat could protest, she ended the call while Carter now joined Tom and his daughter, "She's been obsessed with Monster's Inc lately. Can you guess which character is her favorite?"

"Kitty," Juliet repeated, this innocent look on her face as she stared up at Tom.

When Kris' phone started ringing, indicating Kat calling again, Tom knew he had to do something.

Carter shrugged, "It's your money."

"Although we really shouldn't teach our daughter that-"

"Done," Tom held a hand out to Juliet, "You don't tell Tia that Tess and I are here and I'll get you a kitty."

Juliet excitedly squealed, completely ignoring his hand and pulling him into a hug instead while Kris rolled her eyes playfully, answering the phone.

"Where the fuck is Jules?"

"Wow, sis. Good to see you too. Bebe, come here."

Juliet was a natural, lying to Kat like it was the easiest thing in the world.
