SEVENTY

When the Hollands and Perez family all met the next morning to have a nice breakfast in the airbnb in an attempt to give Tom and Kat some space all while spending time together, neither of them expected to get a call from Tom before either of them could even begin cooking.

"Honey, you're on speaker," Nikki called out while she continued to cut the vegetables.

"Yeah, that's fine. I uh- are you with everyone?"

"We're all here!" Magdalena announced, "I'm surprised you're awake. Is Katalina awake too?"

"She is..."

"Great- maybe you two can come over and we can all have-"

"We're at the hospital."

Instantly everyone grew silent as Nikki finally stopped cutting the vegetables and turned to her phone while everyone else began to gather around it too.

"Why are you at the hospital?"

"Kat may be giving birth any minute now."

Everyone was off within seconds, all getting ready to leave the house and go to the hospital Kat and Tom programmed into their heads where they would be having the twins.

Meanwhile, Tom frowned down at his phone when all he heard was chatter, neither of it actually directed to him.

Hanging up, he turned to Kat who had her eyes closed as she continued to dance to the music.

"What'd they say?"

"Well they didn't necessarily say anything but they're on their way."

"Okay," she took a deep breath, "I think I should be ready to give birth, anyway."

"Why didn't you want them here during the labor, by the way?"

"It took everything in me to not rip your head off these past couple hours, why would I want them here to make me angrier?"

"Noted," Tom mumbled, taking a seat.

"Nu uh, get up. We're dancing."

"Okay... we're dancing."

"Ugh I hate everything about this," Kat groaned as Tom held her while they swayed around, "I thought pregnancy sucked but this definitely sucks more."

"I'm sorry, love," Tom sighed, rubbing her back, "I wish I could take all the pain away from you."

"Yeah? Well I wish you would've come nowhere near me with that- that little devil."

Tom looked down at where she was pointing, only to smile moments later, "I mean, you weren't complaining when said little devil was i-"

"We're here!"

Kat frowned seeing Harrison and Felicity standing there.

"You called them before our families?"
