"Is this how our house is always going to be like?"

"What do you mean?" Kat smiled as she turned to face Tom.

"I mean... I just got you back and I got better from the flu plus the twins are finally good again so you'd expect us to have proper alone time, just me and you, but everyone is here."

"Not everyone-"

"Zendaya, Alex, your mum, dad, sisters-"

"Okay, everyone is here. In my defense though, the twins' one year birthday is coming up and since that's a very big deal..."

"I know, I know," Tom sighed, pulling her close to him as he placed a kiss on the top of her head, "I just wish we had a little more alone time, is all."

"Hey, we're alone right now, aren't we?"

"Barely. I can hear them all outside and they could walk in any minute-"

"No they can't," Kat smirked, "I made sure to lock the door last might."

"Really?" Tom's eyes instantly lit up.

"Really. And you know, the girls banned me from taking care of the twins for the week unless absolutely necessary- they want the practice."

"Okay then, I changed my mind about not being happy that they're here."

"Yeah?" Kat giggled when he leaned down to kiss her, her quick to wrap her arms around his neck to pull him closer to her.

They continued kissing under the covers until there was a knock on the door.

"Are you two up?" Kris called out for them, "Mom's making breakfast and she wants you two out of bed!"

"We won't be eating, thank you!"

"Oh no," Kat laughed as she looked up at Tom, "That was a bad idea."

"What? Why?"

"You should know by now, babe. No one skips breakfast."

As if on cue, more knocking came from the door and Magdalena was calling out for the two, "What do you mean no breakfast? Wake up, now!"

"Mom-"

"Katalina. Thomas. I'm giving you five minutes before I return with the chancla."

Tom knew enough Spanish to know what that meant, making him instantly let go of Kat and get out of bed while Kat laughed at him.

"She wouldn't actually hit us, babe."

"Yeah? Well I'm not risking it."

Kat continued to laugh seeing him rush around the room to get dressed, "I don't know why you're not more scared."
