"Are you sure?"

"I'm sure."

"But like on a scale of one to ten, how sure are you?"

"You're going to be fine Mrs. Holland," the nurse smiled at her, "Now. Are you sure you've got both of them? Or do you need one of you family members to hold them?"

"I'll do it!"

Kat rolled her eyes at everyone's offers, shaking her head as she looked down at the sleeping twins, "I've got them."

After two successful nights in the hospital, it was finally time to go home- no matter how many times Kat tried to convince the staff otherwise.

"Why do you want to stay so badly?"

"Because- what if the twins need them?"

"They've got you and Tom- and your mom."

"That's what I said," Tom mumbled, beginning to push to wheelchair out.

"But here they'd have a whole freaking hospital staff- trained people who could help then with anything and everything."

"I don't need training to take care of my grand babies. They're perfectly fine with us."

"And if anything, we're just one phone call away," Nikki smiled, placing a comforting hand on Kat's shoulder.

"O-okay."

"Relax, beautiful. I won't let anything happen to you three," Tom attempted to reassure her.

"Promise?"

"Promise."

Kat looked up briefly to see her mother recording her again, talking to the camera in Spanish- her guess was that she was speaking to the twins in the future.

She only smiled though, the nerves still eating her alive the closer they got to the exit.

She knew they had to leave eventually though so she didn't say a thing and instead just watched Tom intently while he took each twin, making sure to tell the family not to help him whatsoever.

He wanted to feel accomplished.

Kat knew this but still couldn't help but still worry when she was helped into the back of the car between them.

"Are you sure it's on right?" she asked worriedly as Tom strapped the twins in.

"I'm positive, love. I've watched a dozen videos teaching me how to properly strap them in."

"Okay," she sighed in relief when he closed the door behind him and got into the driver's seat.

He drove in silence while Kat continued to look between them, making sure they were okay.
