Kat learned two things within the first 24 hours of the twins being born.

One: Tom was easily the best father she could've asked for for the twins as well as the best husband for herself.

Every time any of them cried, he didn't hesitate to get up to check on them, wanting Kat to get rest after having to go through labor.

Just watching him with them made her heart grow, seeing how much love he had for them.

The second thing: she loved them more than anything, more than life itself. And what was also unexpected: more than Tom.

"I would kill you."

"What?" Tom chuckled, looking up from Mateo who was currently laying against Tom's naked chest.

Skin to skin bond was one of the first things Tom wanted to try the second they were born.

Kat sighed happily as she looked down at Theo who was fast asleep in her arms after being fed.

"If the choice came down to kill you in order to save them, I would do it. In a heartbeat. All they have to do is ask and I would do it."

"Well, good cause that's exactly what I'd want you to do," Tom chuckled, "That being said, I'd kill myself to save you three."

"That's a cop out answer. Just face it, you'd kill me to save them."

"I'm not saying a thing... can we switch now though? I think little guy is starting to get hungry."

"One boobie coming right up," Kat joked, the two switching them off before Tom sighed happily as he settled back on the couch with Theo now in his arms.

"I think we're getting the hang of this, baby."

"I mean, we're pretty awesome. It makes sense."

Tom only smiled when the nurse slowly came in.

"Hey you two. How's it going in here?"

"Great. Baby girl is full and baby boy is being fed right now."

"Yeah... maybe you should cover up, babe."

"Oh hush. They've seen my vagina. They can see my boob."

The nurse chuckled as she shook her head, "Well, you'll be glad to know they passed all their tests, we just need to take their first baths and get the paperwork done but after that, you two should be good to go home."

"Home?" Kat frowned, "Like home home without nurses and doctors and standby?"

"Somehow, I think you two will be perfectly fine. Let me know when you're ready for their first bath."
