ARE WE REALLY ENEMIES...?
Narrator's POV :
It was a warm summer day, a perfect day for fun !
At least that was the case for everybody else...
In the corner of the boys' bathroom, stands Kirino Ranmaru. Being bullied again.
"Are you really a boy !? You look so girly !!!" A boy said.
"I am a boy !!! And I am not girly !!!" The pink-haired boy shouted.
He didn't like people calling him girly or a 'girl' at all.
They continued to mock and tease him until a certain teal-haired boy appeared.
"Hey !!! You better stop that or else i'll tell Mr. Kinawa you were the ones who made him sick the other day !!!"
He shouted.
Kirino just looked shocked. 'who would even have the guts to save...me ?' he thought as he tried to familiarize the stranger.
As the bullies ran away, fearing that they'll get in trouble, Kirino was able to see the boy's face more.
"Kariya....." He said as his brain progressed what just happened.
Kariya was there; standing with his hands on his pockets, looking emotionless.
Kirino never thought the male would save him from those bullies. He thought they were enemies.
"Don't mention it sweetie, I was happy to help~" The male said mockingly.
Kirino raised an eyebrow at him, then narrowed both as he took in the word "sweetie".
"Well, I never needed your help. So get outta here." He said as he closed his eyes.
The teal-haired boy just smirked with mischief .
"If I hadn't saved you, your pigtails would be cut off."
This caused Kirino to widen her eyes in shock.
He loves his pigtails, and he'd be dead depressed if they were cut off; specially by the hands of insecure bullies.
You heard that right; INSECURE.
Ever since Kirino started high school, there were already some people who admired him.
His eyes, hair, and his personality all lit them up. You may think it's fun to be admired, but it has it's disadvantages.
He was constantly bullied by jealous peers, saying that he's a 'girly'.
He hated it.
That's why he always wanted to be with someone. Someone who can protect him; but he had his hopes up for a very long time, and he was sick of it.
