Narrator's POV :

Shindou was furious.

He was clenching his fists that his hands bled, gritting his teeth that it hurt, and sobbing like he had lost everything. Not like he didn't...He had lost his everything.

The only person he thought would always stick by him turned out to be an enemy. It was sickening and it made the prodigy feel so hurt, yet also so numb. His brain cannot process this at all, and the only thing swirling in his head was a sentence.

'I'm a fool.'

The graynette just sat there on his bed with tears falling down his face. His world was broken into a million pieces; just like his heart. It was funny how he had always envisioned that he was great and he will rise into succession of his plan without a single flaw. Fate never played fairly, now did it ? Fate was cruel and cold...or maybe this was just karma...? He didn't know. All he knew was that life isn't being fair with him.

He had been crying so hard that his throat started to burn. It hurt really bad, but Shindou wasn't bothered by it. He never paid attention to it, even though it felt like it was torture. He couldn't care less; there was an even bigger pain in his chest. The throat one's a baby.

In a few minutes, footsteps could be heard outside. It got louder and louder as it went, closer. The person seemed like it was jogging, based from how fast his steps sounded. Finally it stopped just in front of his room. Shindou stood up and faced his back on the door with his arms crossed. If this is who he thought he is, then it would be a long night. The door handle twisted then opened, revealing the man Shindou oh so badly wanted to shatter. Ibuki.

"Babe, I'm--"

"Where have you been ?" He asked in a sharp tone. It was cold which confused the older boy. He stood there as he stared at the younger graynette, confusion and worry on his face. He paled at the question, and he felt the atmosphere in the bedroom seem to thicken with something bad.

"I was...uh...with my friends."

"Don't fricking lie to me, Ibuki Munemasa. Where have you been ?"

"I told you, with my friends !"

"Oh really....Who ?"

"What ?"

"Who are those friends ?"

"U-Uh...y-you know...the guys--"

Finally the prodigy turned around, anger and tears evident on his face. "YOU ILL-BRED TRAITOR !!!" Shindou grabbed the nearest object beside him--a glass filled with wine-- and threw in on the floor, breaking it in countless pieces. Ibuki stepped back with his eyes widened. 'He...couldn't possibly know, could he ?' he asked himself, shocked by the other's sudden outbreak.

"Takuto--"

"DID YOU THINK I WOULD HAVE NEVER BEEN ABLE TO FIND OUT ?! YOU'RE WORKING FOR THAT DAMNED KIRA CORPORATION YOU STUPID ALBINO !!! I HATE YOU !!!" His screams filled the entire room. It was so loud that even the maids miles away outside could hear it. "Listen, honey--" "OH DON'T YOU HONEY ME, MUNEMASA, I AIN'T FALLING FOR IT !!!" He was so angry it was scary. The albino stood there, not daring to move an inch. His fear didn't allow him to. He was stuck to that very spot without the ability to move or say anything. Everything around him was spinning.

"Don't you care...about what I feel...?"

"I may be the bad guy...but I have a heart too...inside that heart...
