Narrator's POV :

It was official. He hated it. He hated it all.

Being stuck in bed with a pounding headache, not being able to play soccer and coach Raimon. Not being able to go outside and walk by himself without people accompanying him. Not being able to be alone (except today).

He really hated it.

Shuuya told him that it was okay and that he was being overdramatic, and Kidou told him he shouldn't worry because the kids will be fine. He pouted childishly at them and gave each the silent treatment "they deserved". Groaning, Mamoru looked over at the clock on his wall to see what time it was. It read 10:25 AM. He felt like it had been eternity, but guess not.  'I really wanna go out...' he thought. Even if he has a pounding headache, that couldn't stop him from playing soccer, right ? It was only a slight fever, it's nothing to worry about. So he got up, which he struggled a little to do so, got dressed and headed out to the park.

When he got there, he started to kick the ball he brought with him. It felt so much fun and he felt so free. It was like not being able to feel nature for decades. Well, 2 and a half decades in his case (because he was 25). He played for hours on end, feeling the wind blowing his hair. The fresh air he took in, the grass so green, and the overall feeling of mother nature filled him with bliss. He loved it so much. The male could almost feel himself getting better.

Almost.

He played for a while, but then the headache he forgot started coming back, but worse. "Ugh...I don't feel so good..." He moaned, clutching his head. The pain increased drastically, and he fell to his knees as he groaned in pain. "Someone help me...." No one was around and he didn't bring his phone with him, so how is he able to find help before he drops ? His vision started getting blurry, which was a bad sign considering he was in the middle of a public place and no one was around to help him. "S-Shuuya..." was the last thing he said before passing out on the ground. A person came to help after seeing him, but that person was very angry.

"Ugh..." groaned Mamoru. His head was dizzy, the pain still not gone even after 3 hours. It was so painful that he'd rather be in hell than to feel this.  It was so hard to even open his eyes completely, but he managed. He tried to make out his surroundings, and all he saw were white walls, a table, an electric fan, and someone sitting on a chair. Wait a minute...

"Would you care to explain why I found you passed out on the park ?" Asked someone. It took some time, but he realized who the person was. Mamoru knew this voice very, very well, and knowing that...

he was in grave trouble.

"S-Shuuya...I can explain—"

"DO YOU HAVE ANY DAMN IDEA HOW WORRIED I WAS WHEN YOU WEREN'T ON YOUR BED ?!" The blonde shouted. He was really angry this time. He'd saw Shuuya angry before, but not like this. This was on an entirely different level. This was no longer the sweet and kind Shuuya he knew, dear God no, this was someone else. "ARE YOU STUPID ?! WHY WOULD YOU GO OUTSIDE AND TIRE YOURSELF WHEN YOU KNOW YOU'RE SICK ?! ONLY AN IDIOT WILL THINK OF DOING THAT !" He shouted again and again without stop. Mamoru was scared. He was very afraid of how this will turn out. If this continues without any resolution then their relationship would be hanging by a thread, and if that thread breaks apart...He didn't want that. He couldn't imagine a world without his lover.

"YOU ARE SO CARELESS !!!" Tears were on his eyes, seconds from falling down. He felt bad for angering and worrying Shuuya, but the newly found fear overwhelmed him so much. It didn't stop even after tears fell down. It looked like the older didn't notice it. When he did, his voice lowered down a bit and his face softened a little. He was still mad.

"...L-Look...I'm s-so sorry...I really am a-a-and I want to apolog-gize until eternity b-but...please..." He had his gaze down the entire time, not wanting to meet the brown eyes to glared at him. Finally, he looked up, and added "You're scaring me..." He sobbed again, and he put both hands on his face, covering it as slowly let go of his 5 minute surpressed emotions. Shuuya's face went from angry to upset in a matter of seconds. A part of him felt bad, and another told him to give Mamoru a teaching and not care if he was crying or not. He contemplated on it before telling himself that neither of these would make things better for the both of them. Instead of comforting the sobbing man in front of him, he just went out of the bedroom and into the kitchen where he made chicken noodle soup for the sick other.

After what seemed like hours, Shuuya went back to the bedroom Mamoru was in. He opened the door with his free hand, and looked around. On the bed, he saw his lover looking at his blanket-covered lap, tears still visible on his face. The blonde-haired man slowly walked towards him, holding the bowl of soup on his left hand. "Eat this." He told him, placing the bowl on the bedside table. The brunette looked at him, then the bowl before picking it up and he started eating. Shuuya placed a chair beside the bed, not once looking away from the other. He kept his gaze on him, now contemplating on what he should do next. Either he would talk to him or he would just stay upset a little longer. Of course, like any other good boyfriend in the universe, he chose the first option.

"Mamoru...I understand you want to play soccer as fast as possible, but you can't just play when your temperature reaches 38.9°C. You're very sick, so you know you should rest." His voice has a mix of worry in it and the other could tell. "I'm sorry..." Was all he said. "I hope you learn your lesson."

"Okay..."
