Narrator's POV :

Hayami was facing a problem right now. It was messing his mind and all he wanted was to find a solution for it. What was the problem ? A love problem.

Hamano asked him on a date today and he was beyond nervous. He didn't know what he was supposed to do, or what he was supposed to say. The redhead can already tell this was going to be awkward. The thought of it made him jump up and down in pure anxiety. It was pressuring the living soul inside of him. Hayami tried to picture the whole scenario in his head, but his brain couldn't function properly. He couldn't function properly. The boy had already called Ranmaru, knowing that she probably has the answers to love. All he got was a bunch of squealing and advises for fashion and proper etiquette. It was helpful, yes, but the answer he wanted wasn't there.

He wanted to know if he was good enough.

Hayami wanted to know what made him so good that Hamano asked him on a date. "I'm not even good-looking...nor am I even perfect for him." His self-esteem is concerning sometimes, but he couldn't help but feel down. He was so sad and lost right now. "There's no need to feel like this, Hayami...It's okay." He tried comforting and encouraging himself, because that was what Hamano wanted. Honestly, it worked. It really did, and he was happy for that.

It was time for clothes.

Last week, his mom gave him money to go shopping for clothes. She recently got paid double than usual for some reason, but they were both happy for that. Hayami picked an outfit. It wasn't really for his gender, but he wanted to try something new and look like Kirino a little bit.
