JC’s POV

I saw Celine yesterday, it all came back, the good memories, lambingan, the time I broke her heart. Napakalaki pa tin talaga ng epekto nya sa akin. I never stop loving her. Pero hindi na pwede, in less than a year, I’ll be getting married. Sapat na bang time yun to forget or even moved on sa almost lifetime ko with her. I’ve known her since I’m seven, and we’ve been together romantically and officially for 5 yrs. Tatanggapin ko na lang ang lahat, the best I can do is ipaubaya na lang sya kay Ryan, ramdam ko, mahal nya si Celine..at ako? Hindi naman mahirap mahalin si Rei eh.

Rei- “JC? I just want to talk to you..about some serious matter” ha? Ano kayang gusto nyang malaman.

Ako- “Sure, about?”

Rei- “Sino si Celine?” napalunok ako, bakit ba hindi ko naisip na darating ang oras na tatanungin nya sa akin yun. Hindi agad ako nakapagsalita.

Rei- “I’m sorry, I heard you mentioned her name before”.

Ako- “My Ex” but my current love, hindi ko na nasabi yun, though I don’t love her romantically, she deserves my respect. “Don’t worry, she’ll never get between us. As to our coming marriage, we already agreed that we will work things out”. All I can give her is assurance.

Rei- “When did you break up with her? Before you have knowledge of the proposal or before accepting it?”

Sapul, alam ko na kung saan ito pupunta.

Rei- “It’s the latter right? Nakipagbreak ka before accepting it, kaya nag-assure ka sa kin na wala kang sabit dahil alam mo na hindi ko itutuloy ito kung meron kang girlfriend. And I am such a fool not to notice it.”

Ako- “It doesn’t matter, pinili na kita”.

Rei- “No, I’m out of it, I’m just the means. You chose your family and business over her. And I don’t have the right to question your decision.”

Natahimik na lang ako, guilty ako sa mga sinsabi nya.

Rei- “I think, she deserves to know..all of it..she’s hurting, iniisip nya siguro na hindi mo sya kayang panindigan.”

Ako- “For what? Para umasa sya na magkakabalikan kami? Na imposible nang mangyari, nakapagdesisyun na ako. She’s strong, kaya nya akong kalimutan, besides, andun naman si Ryan” may bahid selos ko pang dugtong.

Rei- “Do you still love her, don’t you?”

Tumango na lang ako, sa tingin ko nahihirapan na rin sya. Napansin ko na nangingilid na rin ang luha sa mga mata nya sa pag amin kong yun.

Rei- “You already proved what you can sacrifice for your family. You already proved that you are a good son, now, its time to stand for the one you love. In that case, just leave it to me.”

Ano raw? Sya na lang ang bahala? maghihintay na lang ako ng milagro na may magagawa nga sya sa sitwasyon ko ngayon.
